Millerberg's cellmate charged with attempted murder for stabbing

Simon Russell Scown, 29, was a cellmate of Eric Millerberg on July 1 when prosecutors say he stabbed or slashed Millerberg 22 to 25 times.

On July 1, a corrections officer found Scown standing over Millerberg in their cell. Scown had two cuts on his left arm.
Millerberg had a swollen eye and "puncture wounds to his head, neck, torso, back and arms," charges state.

Millerberg was taken to the prison infirmary where officers counted five slash wounds to the back of his neck, four on the top of his head, four to his face, two on his left shoulder and seven to 10 slash wounds to his stomach, according to charging documents.

This is why I want to see more of these perps in general population....they're all big and bad when they kill women & girls but not so bad compared to all of the other prisoners who dislike those wo prey on women & girls....
That's awful, I know.

Bouwhis said that after Dea Millerberg was arrested, charged and released on bail, she has remained drug-free and now has possession of her kids by working with DCFS.

Millerberg's attorney also said that Millerberg has had no contact with her husband, because she is afraid of him and still intends to divorce him.

After today's brief hearing at the Ogden courthouse, Millerberg's trial was rescheduled to April 3 – 4, 2014.

Omg, why? She was hardly a bit part in the death of Alexis, or the events that led up to it. How on earth is she free on bail, let alone allowed custody of her children.

I just hope this isn't another tragedy waiting to happen.

I'm not sure how I missed this story. I read it for the first time today. I'm disgusted by these two, and I'm not buying anything they're selling.

Please DCF, remove the children.
