Missing, endangered 12-year-old girl found by South Salt Lake Police
(KUTV) — (UPDATE: 8.1.19 12:04 p.m.) -- South Salt Lake Police stated on Thursday afternoon that she was found safe and sound. The agency added that more details will follow.

Police: South Salt Lake Girl Found ‘Safe And Well’
A 12-year-old girl who was reported endangered missing has been found, according to police.
SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – A 12-year-old girl who was reported endangered missing has been found, according to police.
“Asiah Mister has been found safe and well,” according to Gary Keller, South Salt Lake Police Department public information officer.”

She went to a sleepover without telling her grandmother:
“Asiah… went to an adjoining apartment complex, and did meet up with her friend there, but also met up with two girls 16-years-old and 12-years-old,” said Gary Keller, Executive Officer of the South Salt Lake Police Department. They decided to go to one of the girl’s houses to have a sleepover. That house is located in West Valley City near to the location that we received from Asiah’s phone.”
Police said it was around 11:30 this morning when one of the girls Asiah was with saw her picture on social media and called the police.
Keller said police did expend a lot of manpower on this search, but ultimately they are happy Asiah is safe.

So glad she is safe. It sounds like nothing bad happened, thank goodness! I hope she realizes how much her family loves her and tells them where she is going from now on. MOO.
