You also have to realize, she was supposedly on a train for six hours. If her clothing was really that skimpy I wonder if she wasn't dead before she got on. So you have the chill and the wind damage to her skin. She might have just had bad teeth due to lowersocioeconmic reasoning. She might not have been a drug abuser at all and we might just be looking at this from the wrong angle.

I know a lot of college students who have tattoos similar to the one that Jane Doe had. So I'm kind of hoping she was a young college student, at least then she'd be reported missing quickly..

I agree. I do not do drugs, I don't even smoke weed OR cigarettes...BUT...I do drink 7 or so cans of Mountain Dew a day and i have NEVER been to a dentist in my life and because of this I have developed a HUGE fear of ever going. To put it simply, I have horrible teeth I am 25, about to be 26...Bad teeth run in my family, even those with dental care, so teeth issues CAN be genetic. I also do not have insurance and was recently approved for Medi-Cal but they will not be covering dental until later this year (which I am now wanting to get) and even then it will only cover basic services.

And her skin issues could very well just be due to frostbite/windburn.

A non-drug user probably wouldn't tattoo a large marijuana leaf on her back though. Furthermore, the botches on her body were more likely from livor mortis than burn marks.

I thought the boot looking print was probably something she was lying on for so long, like a grate. If she was put put on there dead, would she had been able to have wind burn or sun burn on her face? I also wondered if those trains radiated any kind of heat that would cause a skin burn. She wouldn't have lividity if she was already dead, and she didn't appear to have trauma imo. Such a sad end for her.

I am not saying she was not a drug user, cause judging by her tattoo she most likely smoked weed, but weed alone doesn't do that to a person's teeth. She could have did any and every drug, or just weed, or none at all but making the assumption she did drugs based on teeth is not always accurate.

The clothes she was wearing make me think she was a street kid or hippie. I think she is at the lower end of Namus age range too.

I agree. Last night I went down some rabbit hole of train hopping, squatting, etc. (on the Internet!). There are all sorts of forums about it online and lots of photos. There seem to be two main groups of people who do this:

1. Homeless people, drug addicts
2. Younger wannabe hippies who think it's cool. As you mentioned earlier, they tend to wear similar styles of clothing to our UID. They are sometimes homeless, but by choice.

My guess is she was a little bit of both: Maybe started out in group 2 and then developed an addiction.
