Without knowing much about the Christina Lynn Potter from Canada case I accidentally opened her thread and her pictured appeared and something about her teeth caught my eye. I know she's 2 inches shorter and is described as "heavy build" though, and no tattoo... I don't know. Never mind.

I don't think this is Christina because there's nothing about our UID having recently given birth. Her teeth certainly gave me pause, though! They are the closest I've seen to our girl's.

I wouldn't rule anyone out based on them not having a tattoo. Tats aren't always listed in MP reports, and the person could have gotten after their disappearance. I would only rule out women have already have other tattoos.

Apparently on the new thread they are talking about her still being alive on FB and google+ accounts with new pictures of her and her baby as recent as yesterday. But thanks!

I've reached out to a few self-proclaimed train hoppers on Instagram. Also stepped my tag game up and added a bunch of hop-centric tags. Someone has to know her.

Hello I am new to the thread but have been paying attention.
It has been mentioned before but I also think she looks a lot like Samantha Gonzales.

I think on Monday (or possibly tomorrow), I'm going to start reaching out to homeless shelters in NV and CA. If anyone wants to collaborate/help, let me know.

I found Samantha's "missing" Facebook page. Not much activity on there but the posts are kind of heartbreaking. One of them suggests that she may be a prostitute, last seen in Los Angeles, which is interesting. There is just that one same photo of her. What do you guys think? Is she worth calling in?

Astrid,

I have very close friends who hop trains and are part of a huge photography book/exhibit. You are welcome to contact me and I'll give you their contact - if you want to go that route.

It's hard to say without seeing those teeth, but YES I think it's close enough.

Five, absolutely call it in. Or, I will direct the Sgt to the possible match. LMK either way.

Let me try the homeless shelter route first. I've reached out to several self-proclaimed hoppers and no one seems to recognize her. Though, it never hurts to try... So... go on and pass me their info. Thanks!!

HUGE leap but plausible: http://z10.invisionfree.com/usedtobedoe/index.php?showtopic=74564 Jessica Heeringa, possibly abducted from a gas station in IL in 2013.

I have thought it was Samantha from the beginning. Even in that one pic we have, she's covering her teeth with her lips/mouth. People with poor teeth notoriously do this in photos. JMO.

Thanks, everyone. Astridxx, since you are already in touch with the Sgt, would you mind telling him about the possible match to Samantha? Otherwise, I'm happy to call.

It is a very strong match imo. Definitely worth a call. Please post back if you hear anything.

Has anyone suggested Samantha Gonzalez? She has been thrown around at WS. A lot of the members think she could be a match."

I've also reached out to the woman assigned to SG on namus.

On the find Sam FB page it indicates that DNA samples were taken just last week from Sam's family members. Could this mean that they may already suspect the UID is Sam and need DNA for confirmation? Seems like with Sam missing for over a year, I would have thought DNA would have been taken a long time ago.

With such limited resources all around, I suspect they believe they might have a high probability of a match.

Or she's left it on the clothesline too long in summer. Or she's washed it with items that have bleach on them.

Another thing that can cause similar bleaching is regularly putting it on over a wet swimsuit.

My daughter is a Doctor of Dermatology, and I asked her opinion about Train Jane's facial abrasions. She noticed the her nose could have been broken at some time in the past, but prior to this incident. She also said that she has poor dentition for such a young woman, sometimes seen with smoking, meth or crack, but the facial abrasions aren't typical meth excoriations. These abrasions are more superficial. The skin could be secondarily infected with impetigo on the forehead. There is a lot of post mortum mottling on the sides of her face. What looks like a fine mascara line likely a post mortum change.
