The comments she made on quora about additional piercings being against the LDS teachings made me wonder if she is struggling with her faith. If you look up exmormon on tik tok or reddit you will find many young (and old) people who have been deconstructing, and read about how difficult it is in Utah, especially when the family is devout. This is not meant as a criticism of the faith or the family who obviously love their daughter very much. Just a possibility of what may be troubling Madelyn.

Also, she posted about not liking some posts on KIK and some strange remark about kidnap me with her phone number. I am sure at this time her social media accounts have been gone over by LE.

This was posted on Colleges website about previous suspicious behaviour this year.

Seems as though the College might be a little light when it comes to safety education and procedures, if they're just getting around to the 'buddy system.' Where was Madelyn's buddy? Was she breaking the rules by going out alone at that time of night? Is there a volunteer escort squad on campus? Security awareness training for the new students? Might be opportunity for improvement here.

The comments about Kik and not liking some messages etc made me wonder if she is perhaps being groomed by someone who is creating fear for her on one account and simultaneously helping her on another. I’ve heard way too many stories like that lately. There’s some truly twisted people out there.

That is great news! Whatever her reason was for leaving, I hope she is okay and ready to return to her family and friends, and to get any help that she may need to put this episode behind her.
