Dwayne Dutton's family and friends are becoming frantic. They last saw the 44-year-old man a month ago.

Police found Dutton's purple Dodge Durango at Squaw Peak on April 18. The vehicle was locked, and Sgt. Mike Brower of the Utah County Sheriff's Office said officers found nothing suspicious.

"It's hard for us to gather where he really could be," Brower said.

Dutton was last seen in the first week of April by his ex-wife. He had been living with her, but he moved out. His family believes he may have been living out of his car, according to his mother.

Brower said Dutton's ex-wife filed a missing person's report with Orem police after the vehicle was found.

Utah County Search and Rescue searched Squaw Peak and Provo Canyon with a plane and hikers, but Brower said they found no leads.

Police plan to look at bank and phone records to see if there has been any recent use.

Dutton is about 5'10" tall and 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Details of Disappearance
Dutton was last seen in Orem, Utah on April 1, 2007. He has never been heard from again. On April 18, his purple Dodge Durango was found locked and abandoned at Squaw Peak. There was no sign of him at the scene and no indication of foul play. He may have been living out of his car at the time of his disappearance; he had been living with his ex-wife, but had moved out.

He was familiar with several caves in the area where his car was found, and authorities believe he may have gone missing while hiking. Little evidence is available in his case, which remains unsolved.
