From SS's charging document:

Between April 29, 2010 and May 8, 2010 in Davis County, the defendant, as a party, engaged in multiple acts inflicting serious injuries upon a four-year-old male victim. The severe abuse resulted in the child's death. The criminal acts included beatings, burning, drugging, isolating, malnourishing, leaving the child alone and unattended while suffering, and refusing to seek vital life-sustaining medical attention.

She actively engaged in the abuse and the abuse resulted in his death.

DoD appears to have been before she claimed, as we suspected all along.

Thank God for the excellent work of the police, ME, and Mr. Rawlings in this case. Ethan has some good people fighting for him.

They're fake. As someone pointed out on the last thread, it's obvious they were done recently and she probably had them done for the *wedding*. While little Ethan lay dying.

Hmm reminds me of another monster/mother that still had nails while she was being charged with murder of her daughter Caylee! Extreme Narcissism!

These are some of the BACA folks! You will not find a greater group of people than these. I have several friends that belong, we have joined them on toy runs over the years. This is one group of bikers that every biker respects!

I just got into this case Thanks Susie Q. for catching me up to speed.
I don't understand how she did not dial 911 when she claims that Her boyfriend took Poor baby in the other room and hit him. I don't understand why she did not take the child and run after that happened.

But her boyfriends eyes are very very scary to me, and all I can think of beside the fact that she is cold blooded "B" is that she was scared to death.
As for someones remarks about her nails I do not get that remark at all. it is a French Manicure which
lasts a while - it could even be gel nails that last for months. Not sure I see the problem with her nails.
I do see a huge problem with their morals.

Both of them should get life in prison.
I do not understand how someone can run water in their veins.

Even if they get the death penalty it will be years before it's carried out.
Perhaps the evil that is inside them both will eat away like a cancer and they'll die before then, or perhaps another inmate will be able to get close enough to take care of them like with J Dahmer,

Has anyone else noticed from the courtroom pics how low on his head Nathan's ears sit?

This may sound strange, but awhile back, I read a study or article that claimed a disproportionate number of child sexual abusers, and violent criminals in general, have very 'low sitting' ears.

If you notice, the top of Nathan's ears are level with the corner of his eyes. His ears sit extremely low on his head. His earlobe just about runs into his jawline.

I'm not sure how accurate that 'fact' really is, but I did find it interesting, and seeing Nathan's courtroom pictures reminded me of the study.

I apologize for not having a link, as I wouldn't even begin to know where to look after all this time.

I'm not one to normally advocate violence, but these people make me yearn for the Tudors days where they would hang, draw and quarter people. Normally when I watch that show I hide my head under the covers, but these people deserve something that harsh.

With Mama Sloop-there is something odd. NS mouthing "I love you" to her, I'm sure she's been all "my poor baby!" to him during this. If my children turned out to be a monster like that, I would never set eyes on them again. Ever. Reminds me of Scott Peterson's fecked up mother.

Sorry for the vitriol. I just hate these people.

cakegirl.... I know what you mean about NS' mother. I was surprised at how quickly after Nathan and Stephanie's arrest's she gave a media interview, and especially how she seemed to defend them after they were accused of child abuse and torture.

Her whole spiel seemed to be about what society could have done better to 'help' Nathan and Stephanie, while any reasonable person was wondering what could have been done to help the precious innocent that was abused... Ethan.

I found her interview very strange, under the circumstances.

The charging docs state the abuse was the cause of his death. I've not seen anything more specific than that.

and what was stated in those charging documents was enough; beating, burning, abuse, malnutrition (and more)

All of those conditions noted in the charging documents clearly reflect the autopsy findings. ((((but no the report has not been released nor do I think it will be until trial)))

She is probably a cold blooded "B" but I will not negate that she may have also been Terrorized, this guy's eyes are horrifying.
but non of what you say here says she was not scared of him.
She could have taken pictures in case she needs evidence.
She could have been directed by SOB to go get somethings at the store, including the slushies. So it does not tell me she was not afraid. it tells me she did these things and that is all it tells me. BUT when someone is in terror of someone they do what they are told to a "T"

This is so strange.

Today was my only full day off this week. There was so much I had planned to get done... everything from vacuuming to going grocery shopping.

Yet, here I am. The court appearances are over. I realize there is nothing else to be learned today. But I still am having a hard time leaving Ethan's thread- even to go check on the other cases I am passionately following.

I pray that Joe Stacy, and all others that loved sweet little Ethan, are finding some comfort, somehow.

I pray that our dear Ethan is being cradled in God's arms.
