Authorities have issued an Utah Endangered & Missing Advisory for four children believed to be taken by their mother, 35-year-old Elleshia Anne Seymour.

Investigators say the group left the country, after the suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned at the airport. The date last seen is November 28, 2025.

Missing Children:

• Hazel Raye Seymour

Suspect:
• Elleshia Anne Seymour
35-year-old white female

Hazel eyes, brown hair

Authorities say this is a parental kidnapping case and investigators have confirmed Elleshia Seymour and the four children have traveled internationally.

Anyone with information should contact law enforcement immediately.

A Utah mother is facing multiple felony charges after police say she took her four children out of the country without notifying or getting consent from their fathers, violating court-ordered custody agreements. She is now in Europe with no plans of returning, allegedly planning for "end of times."

According to charging documents, Elleshia Anne Seymour, 35, of West Jordan, is charged with four counts of custodial interference, all third-degree felonies. Investigators say Seymour left Utah with her children between Nov. 29 and Dec. 10, 2025, during periods when the children’s fathers were entitled to custody or parent time.

Police say Seymour shares custody of three children with her ex-husband Kendall Seymour and one child with another ex-husband, Kurt Brady. Detectives confirmed neither father knew about or consented to the children being taken out of state or out of the country.

The case began on Dec. 2, when West Jordan police were asked to conduct a welfare check after Seymour could not be reached. Officers found her apartment unlocked and empty. Her vehicle was later located at Salt Lake City International Airport, and investigators say they found a notebook inside her apartment with plans to shred documents, discard phones and take passports.

Airport surveillance video showed Seymour and her four children boarding a one-way flight on Nov. 29, traveling through Amsterdam and ultimately to Croatia. In a voicemail left for one of the fathers, Seymour claimed she was in France and said she was looking for a permanent place to live, citing concerns about “end times.”

By Dec. 10, Seymour had not returned the children for court-ordered parent time. Police say Seymour has indicated no intention of returning to the United States.

Prosecutors are seeking a no-bail warrant, arguing Seymour is a flight risk and poses a danger to her children. Court documents cite concerns raised by multiple witnesses about Seymour’s mental health and extreme beliefs.

The case is being handled in Utah’s Third District Court.

Following ABC4 article includes video footage of the family boarding at the Salt Lake City airport.

Newly released footage from the Salt Lake City International Airport shows the moments that a Utah woman boarded an international flight with her four children, whom she allegedly abducted.

ABC4 has acquired footage of the moments when 35-year-old Elleshia Anne Seymour boarded a one-way flight with a stop in Amsterdam and a final destination in Croatia, leaving from the Salt Lake City International Airport. She brought her four kids, ages 11, 8, 7 and 3, with her, whose faces have been blurred in the footage to protect their privacy.

*****
Kendall Seymour, the father of three of the children says, “We’re hoping to get a state warrant turned into a federal warrant, turned into an INTERPOL warrant out there.”

*****

*****
Seymour's ex-boyfriend told police that she had recently talked about getting passports and leaving the country, saying she was worried about "end of times" and biblical events.

*****
On Dec. 2, one of Seymour's ex-husbands said she left him a voicemail saying she was in France with the kids, and she needed to get them out of the country because the "end times" were coming.

*****
Prosecutors wrote that Seymour "appears to have no intention to return the children to the United States." They also said they believe her children could be at risk because witnesses told them she has "emotional breakdowns and hallucinations" and "appears to have adopted extreme beliefs" about the "end of times."

*****

*****
A temporary emergency protective order and a no-bail arrest warrant were issued for 35-year-old Elleshia Anne Seymour, who is now charged with four counts of custodial interference, a third-degree felony.

*****
“It has been three weeks now,” he (Ex, Kendall Seymour) said, describing how completely the situation blindsided him. “She has no family in Europe. As far as I know, no contacts out there.”

*****
Kendall said he was unaware of any of these beliefs and is concerned “she’s not in the right mind.”

“I didn’t know about any of these ideas of hers until a couple of weeks ago when someone found her TikTok account… She thinks Salt Lake is going to be destroyed and she is trying to get the kids to safety. My only hope is that she is motivated to protect them,” he said. “There were no signs of that when we were married or divorced in the last five years.”

*****
According to charging documents, a no-bail arrest warrant was requested, given concerns “many witnesses have expressed… indicating she has previously suffered from emotional breakdowns and hallucinations.”

How scary. Does she have money to be able to pay for a hotel or someplace for them to stay in Croatia? Are they all American citizens? If they don't have other citizenships, that adds complications in terms of how long they can legally stay. This doesn't sound like a well thought out plan on the part of the mother, but if she has mental health concerns as reported, she may not be thinking logically here. Hopefully they're found safe soon.

I found her Tik Tok link - it's adaughteroflight. Very strange. I don't have a Tik Tok account but I am able to view the videos.

I hope the children are quickly found and returned. It has been three weeks since they left.

I am surprised that she was able to forge the fathers signatures on the form authorizing their permission for her to take the children out of the country. It seems to me that something so important should require notarized signatures.

Please provide a link.
I see you already found and posted it, I didn't know if we were allowed to post a tiktok link when I originally posted that. Here's one she did actually about the Decker girls and their Mom

A lot of her videos give more Daybell vibes though because she talks about end times, the apocalypse, earthquakes and zombies

I'm confused how she was able to get the kids passports without the fathers' permission. The State department requires both parents appear at the passport appointment, or if it's not possible for the parent to appear, then the parent who cannot appear has to sign a notarized document and provide a photocopy of their photo ID. Apply for a Child's U.S. Passport

Since it says the kids' mom forged something, it seems she might have presented a fake notarized document (that is, faked the fathers signature and the notary signature on the document). Perhaps she already had a copy of the fathers' photo ID on hand for some other reason like getting the kids medical insurance or something?

It's a long time since I was in Croatia, but there were lots of rental flats, and houses, available, as it's been a popular tourist country for a long time. If chosing to stay in a town away from the popular coastal cities, and in off-season, the price to rent a house could be as low as between €500 to €1,500 a month depending on size and standard.

My first thought was "well, at least custodial interference kidnappers usually keep the kids safe," until I read the "end times" thing. The super-Mormon suburb they come from isn't encouraging either. I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone here who that's reminding me of.

It's unbelievable that it's still possible to smuggle kids out of the country in violation of custody orders, especially in a post-9/11 world. This was preventable.

There's a new EU wide electronic "Entry/Exit" system for non-EU travellers to Europe. Netherlands, France and Croatia are in the EU and the Schengen area, this mother and 4 children should have been recorded entering, whatever country's border they first crossed. I'm surprised they were admitted without a return ticket.

Well... I just listened to one of these on Tik Tok. I do not have an account...so do not understand some of the coding that is used.
These numbers were underneath the video, and I am hoping a TikTok user can explain.
818(with a heart) 0(looks like "comments:??) and 162(with an icon that I do not understand)
Does this indicate that 818 people are following her?????
Geeez.

The one I listened to is definitely strong LDS language... and clearly, "end of times" is strongly evident in current LDS teachings...
My brother sent me a recent speech from one of the top official in the LDS church...it was either from the top presidency or one of the Quorum of Twelve........ but it was clear leanings to the end of times.
I am going to try to find it and post... LDS has been preaching and directing in "end of times" for a long time.... but my understanding is that it is more fervent in recent years....

She has 2200+ followers. By TikTok standards, not a lot. But I noticed she turned off comments. The videos are definitely odd.

somewhat strange that no one questioned her mental state, with all these videos .

They do not have dates, as far as I can tell.
Again, does any tik tok user know how to decipher dates on her videos.

It's more a question for the airline company in the US to stop them from flying to Europe than for the border control when entering the Schengen area. If a person isn't allowed to enter a country, be it the Schengen area, the US, or any other country without a return ticket, or a visa if needed, it's the airline company that has to arrange the return trip back.

I'm not sure how strict the Schengen area border controls are regarding travellers from the US that travel without a return ticket, as I would guess those travellers would be regarded as tourists, and not someone who might want to stay undocumented in Europe. The border controls are most likely much stricter when it comes to travellers from countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin-America, than for those from countries like the US, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. The controls are about drugs, and people later trying to apply for asylum, or to stay as undocumented.
