Police and family members are looking for a man and his 2-year-old daughter who went missing Tuesday morning after they were involved in a vehicle crash.

Riverdale Police Lt. Casey Warren said there's concern for the pair's safety because both have medical conditions that "require ongoing attention."

Josh Stinger and his daughter, Gabby, were involved in the crash at about 9:30 a.m., Warren said. Josh spoke with responding officers and then called his family after and said he was headed home, the lieutenant said.

But he never made it.

Family members contacted police for help, and officers spent the day searching all the places Josh Stinger typically goes. The search found nothing.

Warren didn't specify what medical conditions the father and daughter are dealing with, but Maribel Stinger, Josh's wife, told KSL that her husband has a slight disability that can cause him to become frightened and want to flee.

As for Gabby, Maribel Stinger said the toddler has cancer and needs to be home in her bed, not out in the cold.

"With the conditions that we have, we feel like they could be in danger," Warren said. "That's why we're reaching out to the public."

Josh and Gabby Stinger were last seen in a 2004 blue Dodge Durango with Utah license plate number 904MYR. The right side of the vehicle has some damage from the morning crash and the right headlight is broken, police said.

A man and his 2-year-old daughter who went missing after a minor vehicle crash Tuesday may have been spotted in Las Vegas, police said.

Josh Stinger and his daughter, Gabby, were reportedly seen on the Las Vegas Strip, according to Riverdale Police Lt. Casey Warren. He said Riverdale police were working with Las Vegas authorities to locate the pair.

They tracked them to Vegas because he is using his bank card. Wouldn't seem like he is trying to hide too much if he is doing that. If this was a planned event wouldn't he have drained his account so they could stay off the radar? IMO. I wonder what is going on here.

He stated he was on the way home before reported missing.
The disability of becoming frightened and fleeing may be something he can control so not necessary hiding. Hopefully that make sense. It read better in my head.

Vegas isn't the first place I'd go to with a kid...the poor mother must be frantic, I wonder why he's refusing to contact her?

I dont know if he refused. He has a disability that when frightened flees. It may have kicked in after the car accident.

Located-

A man and his 2-year-old daughter who went missing after a minor vehicle crash Tuesday have been located in Las Vegas, family members confirmed to KSL TV.

They were located just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, family members told KSL.

He said police were able to use cellphone and debit card financial records to pinpoint Las Vegas. From there, they called businesses and interviewed people that may have seen the missing man and his daughter.

“We spoke to an individual who identified them and said they did see them at a restaurant,” Warren said. That report came around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
