West Jordan Police are searching for 15-year-old Kara Nez, who left home on April 20 with an adult male, Luige Gaucin. They may be traveling in a black 2024 Nissan Altima (Temp Tag: DC30164), possibly headed to Arizona or New Mexico.

Luige has a warrant for unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Kara is listed as a Missing and Endangered Person.

Kara: 5’7”, 180 lbs, blonde/strawberry hair, brown eyes
Luige: 5’7”, 150 lbs, brown hair and eyes

***MISSING ENDANGERED INDIGENOUS JUVENILE*** WEST JORDAN, UTAH Kara Nez was last seen on April 20, 2025 in West Jordan, Utah. She left her residence with Luige Gaucin in the middle of the night, they stole Kara’s father’s black 2024 Nissan Altima (similar to pictured) with temporary tag DC30164. Luige has a warrant for his arrest, unlawful sexual activity with a minor. They may be headed to New Mexico or Arizona. If you have any information, call West Jordan Dispatch at 801-840-4000.
