I think Nester could benefit from some gummies. JMO she seems obsessed with them

And co-counsel. Excitable bunch. Correct? Correct? Correct?

Only because KR hasn't sucked the joy out out of their side of the table. Yet.

She will.

Question: in the hours bracketing ER's  murder, was KP hopping around the house hiding Easter gummies everywhere? And when I say "hiding", I mean "sticking out like neon signs"?

Are we take supposed to believe that, with three littles in the house, whom he adored, he left gummies everywhere?

Not credible.

What is credible is that, from the first moment on 911, KR was setting the stage, conflating innocent gummy use with illicit drug use in order for ER to be the cause of his own death.

And stretching an old prescription for pain killers into a full-blown addiction to street drugs, kept bedside.

No evidence of any kind to support that.

ER's life was in order, his health was in order, his finances in order, his activities with work and his sons, in order.

Meanwhile motive was veritable oozing from KR's pores.

JMO
Exactly, and she's 4.5 mil in debt. Common sense, y'all.

This "scheduling conflict” possibly more about defense making (personal) comments rather than just sticking with asking questions. moo

Ha!

No, I think it's unrelated.

She must not know that 3 states surrounding Utah have full legality! Mesquite, NV and Wendover do brisk business as well as in state medical ones

It's a desperate reach IMO. You didn't find the gummies or take them or test them. Ergo, reasonable doubt says that our greedy unfaithful client didn't kill him the gummies might have been tainted with fentanyl and it's their fault or ER's own for buying them.

Celebratory drinks.

No.

Closing on that property? She was millions of dollars in debt.

Her celebration was hers alone.

Bet she and her mom were whooping it up. KR knew ER would be dead within hours, he never know about her debt, she'd be a grieving widow, showered with attention, free to move forward with her lovah and instantly flush with cash. Debt resolved. From red to black.

ER was merely a means to an end for her. She already lined up partner 2.0. That ER would suffer, oh well. That the boys would suffer, oh well. That ER's dad and siblings would suffer, oh well. Ice princess.

Fentynal poisoning doesn't happen gradually. IMO ER was already in bed when he ingested it.

How she convinced him to drink it, I don't know. What all was in it, I don't know. But I believe he believed it was non-alcoholic and probably intended to soothe a sore throat.

I trust nothing of KR's narrative.

What did the autopsy show? 5x the level of fentynal iirc. He didn't consume that in the kitchen and die later in his bedroom.

She's a liar.

I don't know about anybody else, but out of all of the evidence noted, I am most excited to hear about these tweezers found in the jacket pocket!

Also, I find it very interesting that he overdosed on fentanyl but she left not a trace of fentanyl anywhere in the house.

I'm intrigued too!
Maybe she used the tweezers to open the fentanyl capsules. She probably put more than one in Eric's drink for him to OD with such high levels.
Then she had a few hours to spare between offering him the drink and calling 911, so plenty of time to deep clean the kitchen and any equipment used.

If the ME still has the pill bottle, maybe the State ought to have it tested for fentynal during the lunch break so the Defense can't keep pretending it might be.

wouldn't matter. then it would be why just now are they testing this evidence they've had in their control for years? How do we know they didn't tamper with them or cross contaminate them. We'd have days of dualling experts discussing the state's evidence securing, their testing protocols, etc.

Wow. Judge just excused the jury until tomorrow morning.

KR’s outfit is interesting. Long sweater, less formal than first two days. Maybe defense is trying to make her seem more relatable?

That was unexpected.

Did Kouri not sit down and talk with Eric about her debt?

Maybe limited choices?

She isn't pulling off the "librarian look".

Not laughing at you. I bet ER had no idea she was in debt.

I said earlier that good people often have trouble accepting that other people can be bad, really bad.

He did explore divorce, it sounds like, but I'm sure the pull was strong to stay married, stay with his children. A lot of people make that choice.

He had concerns and took steps to protect his boys from KR, financially, trusting his sister over KR. I feel for him. If he left KR, he'd be leaving the boys alone with her at least half time... staying, he remains with them daily.

He did know she'd gotten lines of credit, one wonders if she divulged or admitted to anything, doubtful he was aware of how far in debt she was and how much danger he was in.

IMO he had to be in bed when he was drugged because fentanyl is FAST. She probably pretended she was caretaking, nursing his covid.

This wasn't something he sipped. It was something he must have swigged. In bed.

All the stuff in the kitchen? Staged.

I wonder if he even had a moment where he realized he was dying... and why.
