Found Deceased UT - Kyle Burton, 18, River Heights/Logan, 29 Nov 2017

Kyle Ryan Burton, 18, has been missing since Wednesday, Nov. 29, and was last seen in the River eights/Logan, Utah area. Burton is believed to be on foot and without a coat or phone. He is known to frequent the outdoors and likes hiking in local canyons.

His description is as follows:
Age: 18
Race: White
Height: 5'10"
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Weight: 210 lbs
Build: Husky
Identifying marks: Surgery scar on left knee
Mannerisms: Shy/quiet but friendly
Wearing: Blue jeans (or shorts) and a (possibly red) t-shirt and black Adidas shoe

The local newspaper lists him as "vulnerable" so don't know if they mean developmental or physiological issues. If he did indeed go hiking (that was not clearly stated, only that he LIKED to hike) that is not good as temps have been in the 20's at night, not survivable without coat and/or shelter. Hopefully, he just took off to a friend's and didn't tell anyone.

Police are now saying he "wandered away" from a home. That, with the "vulnerable", likely means that he did not plan a hike but in the midst of a personal issue that could easily have put him in harm's way given the temperatures at night and the terrain around there.

I hope they find him, but I don't have a good feeling about this one. Too much NOT being said.

[h=1]Body found near Providence Canyon identified as missing Wyoming teen[/h]

LOGAN — Authorities have identified the remains of a body found Sunday as that of 19-year-old Kyle R. Burton, who went missing last fall.

Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Brian Locke said Burton’s body was found by a hiker east of Sherwood Drive, in the foothills above Providence. The remains had been turned over to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
