That would not be good. I hope he pleads guilty so there won't be a trial. It would be horrible as I'm sure the defense will not paint a pleasant picture of the victim.
I'm hoping the family will not have to endure that. Imo

Indeed! I hope this does not happen. I was involved in a case as friend/family of a victim of a person who tried to smear the name of the deceased and his counsel said the worst things to try to discredit the victim. ML's family does not need this to happen. I think it should never happen in court to smear the victim's name with horrible false accusations. She was the VICTIM here. He is the guilty one!

I dont think the smoke photo is that bad really. Imagine seeing it thinking he was a good person? Not knowing that he's done something horrific, if you can? I mean, I wouldn't hang it in my house but I think it would be seen as a powerful statement or whatever. Art wise.

In no way am I sympathizing with this monster.

I agree. Separating the person from the images, I think the "smoky" picture is arty, and I think he looks attractive in his modeling pictures. It's just like Bundy. Objectively, he's a good looking guy but when I see his pictures, all I can think of is what a horrible monster he is. AA has become ugly, but I could see how a woman would be attracted to him based on the modeling pics.

Human tissue from a dead person is remains. The Chief doesn't need to use every synonym.

I'm not sure what else remains would be, except the parts that used to be part of a living human body (all of its organs and tissues). Naturally, in my mind, the word "tissue" uttered by a police chief probably means skin (which is also very hard to completely destroy in a fire; DNA analysis can be done on just one cell from scrapings taken from a fire).

Example: we can examine fires that occurred 1 million years ago and tell you what was cooked in them.

MOO one cell would tell them identity - but they knew she was dead after the search warrant, so the tissue type or tissue mass have been vital to to life.

Of course I'm off subject! With the tipping, I've always thought cash is preferred for tax reasons. Any tips that are recorded are known by the employer, added to W2 and taxed by the IRS. My totally un-scientific guess is more than 90% of tipped employees don't claim 100% of their cash tips on their taxes.

Other reason could be if they are paid weekly or bi-weekly. Some may be a bit strapped for cash and need to pay a bill, get gas with the cash or buy groceries today with that tip money and can't/don't want to wait until next payday.

I usually try to tip anyone in cash for the reason that they may need the money today, I leave the moral compass with them as to report to IRS or not. Lol!

That presumes you don't live in a big city where getting out some cash is in and of itself a risk. We try very hard not to travel around with much cash. The uber drivers in my family don't want cash tips (they make so little they aren't too worried about taxes) because it would make them targets for people who are cash-hungry. They prefer the app. And Uber prefers the app. Since the cost of the car is tax-deductible, it's very rare that an Uber driver would want cash above safety (just my experience - the Uber drivers I know are all young women).

Ty I think he was just speaking in Layman’s words. What tissue do you think it could be? Why couldn’t they say what the tissue was :(

I had no idea and never considered the safety issue. Noted!

Look at the last couple of photos here and you can see the back door.

And those photos, I don't see that brick area that we saw in the aerial photographs. I remember that large area that had pavers on it in the backyard, but I don't see it in these photos. I remember thinking at the time, they need to look under those brick pavers, I wonder when these photographs were taken?
