Really hope people slow down and calm down.

Nothing confirmed at all. So far just a AIRbnb owner who burned some trash.

In my state, burning trash is commonplace. A recent immigrant may not know the local ordinances.

LE spoke of connections.

If you copy this exact phrase in to Google a modeling page and his photos come up.
"I am a Victim, Romantic, Violent and Character actor."
And once you google you can click on images.

I agree. That was my point. LOL!

Ethnicity may not be so immaterial if he holds dual citizenship and a passport for another country. He could flee and disappear.

Some more info about Corinne for those who may not be familiar with the area-

It's very rural, especially compared with the rest of the valley between there and Salt Lake City. The town's population is under 1000. The Bear River flows through it, and there's a lot of farmlands and marshy area around it, including a wildlife preserve. It would have been about an hour's drive from Rose Park to Corinne in regular traffic.

^^^ Thanks.

It's obvious LE have a lot more on this poi than they're letting on.

There is something really bugging me here in the way we keep talking about the mattress and Airbnb. When I looked at the listing for the bed, it was listed as "new" and was wrapped in plastic. I get that it might have been involved in a crime but the folks who picked it up probably thought they were getting a great deal, new bed, for free.

As for Airbnb, while there are really nice places to stay on that site, there are also lower end listings such as this. Many folks, myself included, like the idea of being able to just sort of couch surf when traveling as opposed to paying exorbitant hotel costs. This means my accommodations might not be 5 star but that's ok. It also means I meet some pretty cool people. I think that is the case with those who left reviews on this house.

There has been conversation about victim shaming. What about the victim shaming of the folks who stayed at the Airbnb or took the bed? They are likely victims too and probably are shocked to learn that they are indirectly now involved. That said, they don't deserve the negative comments for the seemingly harmless choices they made.

The only thing I know about Corinne is there's a Walmart Distribution Center there, that I have a relative that works at. I would think this is unrelated. The timing doesn't really add up IMO.

Ita.

Some countries like (I believe this is one of them) Venezuela do not have an extradition treaty-- so if he went there, he'd be safe and could not be turned over to the U.S. , nor tried.

The link says the death was suspicious but death was "unattended". What does that mean exactly?

Any passport provides the ability to leave country. Somalia has an extradition treaty with the US.

It could be unrelated, but I know our POI attended Utah State and used to live in Logan. This park is around that area-about 45 minutes west of Utah State. Could be a familiar spot to the POI.

From my googling, it seems that that just means that no one was there to witness the death.

An Air bnb owner who was also named a POI in this case, and whose backyard has been dug up, and who got rid of items the police are requesting to be turned over...
Took the words right outta my mouth!

On second thought it would then make sense they met at a park NORTH of both of their homes and the airport ...
