Deceased/Not Found UT - Matthew Johnson, 51, Utah Ntl Guard member, missed work, car found a block from home, Cottonwood Heights, 20 Sept 2024 *Arrest*

From your link :

"... Rogers explained that if the police find the body without their cooperation, they will have nothing to bargain with. .."

I'm somewhat hopeful they can find Matthew w/o any help.
His wife and both of her parents deserve to be locked up for good; imo.

I just read about this case. Unbelievable.

Knowing nothing, when I read that neighbors saw Johnson's truck backed into the garage when it was earlier parked facing the garage, I thought uh oh, he was probably killed in the home.

So now this monstrous woman will spend the rest of her days in prison, has lost her poor children, her lifestyle, her lover, ...everything. Can't these spouse killing people not just divorce and move on?
Woman isn't the brightest bulb either, murder was premeditated yet she sure didn't think !

Very sad for Matthew, RIP, and for the young children.

I think the 'shallow grave' is a red herring. I can't see her digging a hole big enough for person. I think she dumped him somewhere and then covered him up or dumped him in water. Was the roof container found with the vehicle or is it missing too?
I don't understand the depravity of the parents nevermind their daughter. This is next level.

The Cottonwood Heights woman charged with killing her husband and disposing of his body, which has yet to be located, made a brief court appearance Thursday, pleading not guilty and waiving her right to a preliminary hearing.

Cottonwood Heights police say that despite the months that have passed since the murder, they’ll continue the search for Johnson for as long as it takes.

"Would it be nice to have concluded this back in September, October? Yes," answered Young. "But we’re not giving up."

I'm happy to hear LE is still searching for Matthew. Video of hearing on Thursday can be viewed below.

Gledhill told a confidential informant that she shot Matthew Johnson, 51, a Utah national guardsman, in his sleep and buried him in a shallow grave in an unknown location, investigators allege.

Investigators meanwhile announced they were expanding their search for Johnson's body from a region north of Salt Lake City to a county in northwestern Utah. Dozens of police and National Guard soldiers searched the Snowville area last weekend, according to police.

Nothing new is noted in this article:
