Dr. Perper is NOT going to simply say "Yes" or "No". He is going to fully answer.

Why would a transcript from a television show be relevant, particularly the comments of the host, and the limited response permitted by a guest at the discretion of a host? Are the show host comments really medical testimony?

I think it's to show bias - he made a conclusion about drowning before he had seen the medical evidence.

No infiltrates in Michele's lung because she died and white blood cells are no longer being moved through the body.

I appreciate that, but it's only to the extent he spoke, or was permitted to speak on a show - one that tends to have a host with strong opinions.
I understand where the defense is going, I just don't understand why the court would allow the show hosts comments in.
I guess it's up to the prosecution to object? Maybe they want the door open?

We should all get college or medical school credits for listening to this testimony.

I may be dead wrong, but I suspect the jury is ready to strangle the Defense attorney about now. I'm sure they are ready to get out of Dr. Perper's classroom.

When this defense attorney doesn't get the answer he wants me moves on from the samples of heart tissue and tries again this time with live slides....

sorry that should be liver slides.

I am still thinking about the condescending way that Spencer asked Dr. Perper to give him the water bottle back.

Bowel hadn't emptied? So brown or red color in bath water had to be blood.

I went downstairs to change laundry loads, came back, and said out loud, "How the heck did we get here???".

The things we hear at trials...

I missed that what happened?

I wonder what the jurors are thinking.

I realize Spencer has a purpose, but he really seems to be treating Dr. Perper disrespectfully, and it is disturbing. He just asked him a question, did not get the answer he wanted, then moved on with "whatever" - it's simply rude.
