Tweets from WAT, not telling much, but funny:

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

The attorneys are still discussing issues about the inmates who will testify. Jury is not present at the moment. #MartinMacNeill

But it seems like MacNeill fits in well with them, except I'm not sure any of them are murderers.

I hate how this defense lawyer mumbles.

I don't believe they have discussed this yet, but the judge mentioned that the state is asking him to reconsider his ruling Friday on whether the defense opened two doors. I bet they have transcript in hand and pointed out some of the things I mentioned a few pages ago.

Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Martin MacNeill: Michelle's death murder or accident? -Utah #4

I sure hope the Judge reconsiders. Especially the letter that Alexis denied knowing about. The defense presented it as evidence to show the character of Alexis to lie under oath. IMO the State ought to have the opportunity to remedy.

Yeah, come in late - Go to lunch. Go home.

So, judge tells jury to come in at 10. Why didn't he start this hearing at 9?

No kidding! :dunno: Not to mention, as I said before - Why couldn't they vote after court? They get out at 3 FGS!

Help (since I can barely hear what they're saying...). Are they discussing Martin's forbidden contact with Gypsy?

TIA!

I'm more interested to hear what the judge says about the "families are forever" comment. Spencer claimed they didn't elicit it, but rather that Sabrina offered it as a "gratuitous" comment. The transcript will show that not only did Gustin elicit it - she introduced it as a yes/no question as to whether he said it!

I don't expect the judge will be too thrilled to realize the defense was lying through their teeth to him on Friday.

Spencer is most certainly tenacious. I do believe he could regurgitate the same thought forever and ever.

The Judge also accepts as fact whatever comes out of Spencer's mouth. Spencer says the witness lied. Judge asks what he lied about. Spencer squirms he thinks he lied about ... But the point is he TRIES to state things as facts.

Think it is NOT worth using the testimony of Mr. P. His 'issues' are much to much for him to be believed. Toss this witness.

  • #577
WHAT? The judge is saying today is like a "half day". Every day seems like a half day.

I hear you. This is making me incredibly uneasy. I seriously had to mute the live feed.

I agree 100%. I also think the fact that MM farmed out the younger children, one to Ukraine and others to Bledsoe family, speaks to and refutes this statement. The Defense elicited this statement as a means to show MM's abiding love for his family. This is completely belied by his actions despite the statement that he made to Sabrina.

I am more concerned about the testimony coming from someone who is clean as a whistle and as dirty as they come. Kinda like MacNeill before his daughters understood the father they knew was a total sham and started pressing for justice for their mother.

Just outline what each inmate has done/been convicted of and let the jury weight that in.
