For all the HLN watchers, I have a tip that you may or may not like. I record the HLN shows starting at 11 Central Standard Time, and don't start watching for at least an hour - sometimes more. Then I can scan through the commercials. Of course I check here in the meantime. I don't mind that I'm not watching in real time. By the end of the day, there's not much difference. Just thought I'd comment on it, as I read complaints from posters about all the breaks, and I solved that issue many moons ago.

I'm really concerned, though. I read that HLN is laying off a lot of people and rearranging their schedule eff. 11/18. Will they still cover trials? HLN is the last bastion for trial coverage. They'll be running Entertainment and some show called "What Would You Do?" during the day, when the regular shows now run. It saddens me, especially if a lot of the good hosts will lose their jobs.

Oh man I hope it doesn't happen. Maybe another network will get there is a need and an audience. Yes I utilize HLN for updates when I cant be there in real time.

Yes as much as I complain about them when I get "involved" in a case such as this one or in the past Arias I hate missing a day and for example today I could catch most of it in the car with HLN on XM radio..but I've sure heard some rumors about trouble at HLN.

I think it was inmate #3 who said he thought the wife's name was Dipsy.

That was pretty good.

I keep getting logged off without doing anything...i just keep this window open and look every now and then. first day it is doing this...any ideas what is happening.

No but I have had issues too. Thought it was just me.

The Prisoner's Testimony today made me kind of sad. It just seemed by their spoken word they were not folk who had many opportunities in life. IMO.

I felt the same way, Bravo, but I thought it was just me- I'm a sap

I also thought they did well, IMO.

Then I am in good company :seeya: I thought they were very good witnesses. Given the time lapse from crime to trial. The Prosecution has done well. IMO. Yeah I am a sap too when I feel justified LOL.

I hope that HLN can still televise trials as I can't watch them on the internet- uses too much bandwidth because I have satellite for my internet. ( I hope they don't get rid of Vinnie :loveyou: )

I heard Kathy Bates is going to testify about some of the things MM has told people. I'm posting a link to the expected testimony:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8tVRmykGR4

WAY OT- OMG how much are you loving American Horror Coven????
Bates is awesome as LaLaurie! The people they cast for that show are amazing....

OK, Back to Doc Martin (did ya catch that?! heehee).
Are Inmate 1 and Pourier different people? I assume so, since Pourier is no longer an inmate. Either was tomorrow should be a really interesting day in court. Can not wait to see if Pros. really go after Dypsy/Gypsy this time.

It was telling that they all testified that he called Michele the B word. Why would a husband who was so distraught over his wife's death that he offered the ER doc $10,000 to continue doing CPR call his wife that? And why would a loving husband, a doctor no less, not immediately pull his wife out of the tub---sore toe or not---and start CPR? I bet the neighbor lady could have pulled her out by herself but no---Martin insists between the two of them, they wouldn't be able to pull her out so wants her husband to come over and help get her out. Tic toc tic toc----Martin was making sure this took as long as possible.

Thanks so much for all your posts!

I'm on the first witness' testimony - the investigator or whoever he is. I don't understand the point of his testimony so I'm gonna skip it unless someone tells me not to.

I bet the inmates were saying to themselves " Wow--Doc is accused of killing his wife yet he's saying his wife is locked up too. Lawdy Lawdy--and I thought my life was messed up ":floorlaugh:

I'm confused about the timing of when Macneill would have committed the actual murder or dispensed the drugs.

He took the kids to school around 8:00 (not sure of exact time), was at his office at 9-ish and made telephone calls.

Alexis talked to her mom around 10:00 or 10:15 - she was unimpaired and undrugged at that time.

Martin was getting his picture taken and going to the fair thing at 11:15

Martin picked his daughter up from school around 11:35

So what's the theory? That Martin went home some time after 10:15 and drugged her, then went back to work in time to get his picture taken, then went back home and drowned her, then went to pick up Ada and arrived home for Ada to find her mom?
