In my opinion, any meaningful points this defense lawyer may have made with this witness are probably long forgotten. I'm am left thinking only that he looks like he could be Clark Howard's brother and possibly enjoys abusing the elderly. JMO

@BenWinslow people are saying Dr. Preper (sp?) is hedging by saying the death was by drowning AND was undetermined, but the way I understand it, he is saying the cause of death is drowning, but the manner of death is undetermined. In other words, she drowned but he cannot say with certainty whether she drowned by accident or if someone (like her husband) held her under the water and caused her to drown. Am I understanding that correctly?

Defense attorney is causing Dr. Perper's hands to shake. Not liking this. Yes, I did see the water bottle deal. Very rude and condescending to a very smart man.

Way behind watching HLN.

That is what I understood him to say. :seeya:

That is how I took it.

It's Arizona and maybe Indiana that may be weird about it. (Or at least used to be.) Everyone else is the same I believe.

I understood it the same way as you do. There was a question on direct that exactly covered that.

That's what I understood, as well - I think the ME, Dr. Grey also said that Cause of Death and Manner of Death are not the same thing.

Yes. I understand what Dr. Perper was saying too. I do not think he was hedging at all.

State is biting back.

Defense opened door to allow statement by Rachel that her father said 'family is forever' State feels that this opens State to show MacNeill gave away his children etc.

Just so everyone knows...one of my BIG pet peeves is when someone SMILES (actually just shows their teeth) when they really don't mean it. Anyone come to mind??

Now don't you all start giving me a big grin about now!!:loveyou:

When Clark Howard and the squeaky-voiced prosecutor argue, I want to start screaming, "Nerd fight! Nerd fight!"

That's all I have.
