Why wouldn't the question of threats against this witness be relevant??? I must be missing something.

It's funny watching the lawyers try to tip-toe with these inmates because they seem to love to chat and are volunteering all sorts of information.

These inmates are hurting "Doc"-- they come off as honest and sorry have to be there telling the story.
And sadly they still kind of think of him as a friend.
On the other hand, Doc looks rather disgusted at the witnesses. I doubt he thinks of them as friends anymore. Or wants anyone to think he was ever their "friend".

When trying to verify a page number, Spencer just said to Perkins, "Jared, what page are you on?" Is that a breach of courtroom protocol to call another attorney by their first name?

I don't really think so. IMO it just shows they tend to have a cordial relationship typically.

This judge is intense - always looks like he has a headache or in pain. Like he wants to be anywhere but in his court room.

Sometimes the answers just come out more than what was anticipated.

These inmates don't play by the rules. What a lively bunch.

No jury questions. And I liked the witness.

So I guess as long as it doesn't go as far as "Derek, I object"...

Any promises? "A death sentence for telling on him," Inmate #4 says. @fox13now #MartinMacNeill #MacNeillTrial

10 minute recess. Hit the pit. Smoke em if you got em. #MartinMacNeill

Unfortunately, I do not think the inmates are helping the state at all. Inmate 3 seemed a little shaky and self-serving. Inmate 4 seemed unwilling and not just because of fear. I hope the other two do better.

That may be part of the reason why they're inmates :jail: :scared:

I had to laugh when the State asked him 'any promises made?'

Inmate: yeah a death sentence for telling on 'em.

IMO that would be a top priority to me too.

I think he's guilty. If I were on this jury though, with what's been presented so far I would feel forced to vote him not guilty. What's been proven is that he is a cold , cheating SOB who didn't love his wife. Despicable, but not the same as proving he murdered her. Flame me as u will... :)

No flames! I agree with you. I'm trying not to decide the case on how the players eat their crackers. By players I mean the attorneys as well as the witnesses and defendant.

Not about to flame you :) But, I'm remembering that it took two tries to convict Jason Young, so there's always hope!
