No exclusions listed! I don’t know what else they could have been updating unless it was Investigating agency info...everything else looks the same on Juniper’s NamUs. And I don’t see any obvious changes to Sandra’s, unless a different UID was added.

Not necessarily bad (I'm good at grasping at straws). My thinking is maybe they don't have the same kind of identifiers in Namus so they will need to refer back to LE. Of course the other option is they now both have DNA,were auto ruleouts and we will never know...

Another possibility is Patsy Ann Ravens, who was believed to be headed to Utah when she disappeared in 1977?

Very few records are available on Sandra Matott; for example, her pre-disappearance arrest records were destroyed some years ago. The missing person report itself has no useful information. We talked about this case and the possible Matott connection on our Cold Case Talk podcast in December 2019, ‎Cold Case Talk: Toothless "Jane Doe" Body Found on Apple Podcasts. The sheriff and detective who worked the 1978 Jane Doe case are still around and interested in seeing her identified, but there are missing-evidence issues (not surprising for a 1978 case in a rural county). We're still trying to track down whether she was cremated, or whether we can get her exhumed and have our forensic lab test her DNA. She was shot to death. The "hitchhiker" theory was b.s. made up by Henry Lee Lucas when he "confessed" to killing her.

Another link with information on Juniper Doe's case from the Utah Bureau for Criminal Identification - it includes a reconstruction of Juniper Doe I haven't seen before.

Jane Doe-Millard County

I do see a good bit of resemblance with Matott (though the pictures we have of her are very poor quality). Plus, the ring is listed on Utah BCI's website as having a "green or turquoise" stone - Matott's ring had a turquoise-colored stone as well. I already thought she was a good fit for Juniper Doe before, but now it's seeming more and more likely (at least IMO).

What about Linda Hanoian Peterson – The Charley Project ?

Missing from Murray, Utah since September 1978. There are some obvious discrepancies (height, no mention of Linda’s teeth being present or not), and Linda was 5-6 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Is it possible for them to have missed that when examining Juniper’s remains? I feel like I should know the answer to that.

I do see some resemblance, although not as strong as with Sandra.

Sandra haymes , Timmons, mattot, and Bray are a few names from what I could find that’s how I found you all talking about her Because she is my grandma and very little is known besides a few photos so seeing you all trying to solve it is awesome

It feels like there is no movement in this case, considering the IMO good potential match of Sandra Matott. Did somebody hear something about it? Is she on the rule out list for this Jane Doe now? @Melt71 I've seen you posting on Sandra's thread too, recently. Any updates from family members or LE? Something to add?
