Miriam Judith Salgado
Thanks so much for the likes. It gives me confidence that so far my posts are OK.
Here’s the follow up on my previous post.
While researching Miriam Judith Salgado I found that she is the paternal aunt of Elizabeth Elena Laguna Salgado. I know I already mentioned this, but I’m worried that Miriam may have found out something about her nieces murder that put her in danger. What are chances that both an aunt and her niece go missing? Not to mention that the niece is found murdered. Maybe it’s just me, but that sure seems like more than a coincidence.
From my research I found the following information.

She Vanished Walking Back from Class — and Is Found Dead 3 Years Later: 'We Refused to Give Up'
This is a quote from the article:
“Our hopes were high — we refused to give up,” says her aunt,
Miriam Salgado. “Everywhere we went, we were always looking, hoping that one day she would suddenly appear.”
Here’s a quote by Rosemberg Salgado from the same article:
“Whoever did this, we’re going to find him,” Salgado says. “He might as well turn himself in, because we’re going to find him and he’s going to pay. Nobody else should have to experience this evil.”
Note: Rosemberg Salgado refers to the murderer as him, he, himself and he’s. How does Rosemberg know the murderer is male and that there’s only one person involved and not two? Is that odd, or is it just me reading way too much true crime stuff?
The following information and quotes are from another article.

Search For Elizabeth Salgado Hits Three Month Mark
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News)
Elizabeth’s family has weekly meetings with the Provo Police Department but Rosemberg and his brother Rudemberth are not welcome at those meetings.
Asked why, Rosemberg told ABC4 Utah News, “That’s something you need to ask the Provo Police Department.”
We asked Lieutenant Brandon Post of the Provo Police Department why.
“We’ve encountered some incongruences,” Lt. Post said. “Until we can reconcile those the uncles are not invited back into the meetings.”
Alex Villalobos organized the Find Elizabeth Salgado effort in the days after her disappearance but has since quit because of his suspicions of the Rosemberg and Rudemberth.
“My impression is that they know something,” Villalobos said on June 30th. “They know information that they are not sharing…like what really happened with Elizabeth. We found some inconsistencies with the stories.”

Search continues for missing Provo woman
Salgado does not own a car, Post said. One of her uncles who lives in California was the person who called police reporting her missing Friday, he said. Her roommates told police they did not notice any strange behavior from Salgado before she disappeared.
Rudemberth Salgado is another uncle who lives in Provo. He said his niece texted him about 1:30 p.m. Thursday asking for a ride to Wal-Mart. He agreed and asked her what time she needed a ride, but she never responded, he said.
Note: The uncle (mentioned above) that reported her missing was Rosemberg Salgado.
Note: Rudemberth Salgado was the last person to have contact with Elizabeth before she disappeared.
Some of the details in the above articles are concerning but not totally out of the ordinary. However, what really does seem suspicious is that Elizabeth was found in Hobble Creek Canyon.
I’d like to post about my Hobble Creek Canyon research, but it’s much more people specific. I re-read the rules and if I understand them right you can put names in posts if they’ve already been named in articles concerning the case. Is that correct?
