jmo, I think it's an SK, but not Bundy, weirdly. Believe me, I'm not saying Bundy wouldn't switch up his victims, his MO, pretty much anything, I'm sure he did. Wouldn't dream of saying Bundy wouldn't lie, of course he would. Is this one of the secrets he took to the grave? It might be. With that said, I agree with someone I saw noting how very similar this is to the Andy Lepley disappearance, and the man spotted in association with Andy--
not Bundy. Nancy's situation truly IS reminiscent of Andy Lepley. I think this is a different individual or crew that took Nancy, the men noted for her circumstances align far more with Andy's scenario. Plus the people Nancy was seen speaking to- hippie-ish types, as others have already noted, not "Ted" types. And one of the men she was speaking with (per one source), he was a "Tom," not a "Ted." Alcala gave different names, but as far as we know to this point, "Ted" didn't. Ted (probably because of his twisted brain chemistry) seemed to genuinely enjoy being Ted. (Very sad for the rest of us)
With that said, what about this Doe? Has she been ruled out, I don't think so? (??)
Compared to Nancy
Chin, mouth with the thinner upper lip, the longer hair, the overall facial composition, a lot of angularity, very long face with fairly high forehead, even the part on the hair-- I really think that looks a lot like her. I think Finley Doe looks like Nancy, too, but the eyes are a little bit different and the upper lip is much more fleshy for the Finley Creek Doe (still could be her, these sketches and likenesses are often a little off in different ways). And if this Doe's Nancy, she does line up in many ways: This Doe is Placer County CA, Oct 1980, they don't know how long she was there, 18-27yo, dental age 21+, 5'0"-5'5". Now, Doe's hair's listed as more brown with bonde/red coloration, that's what I'm wondering about. To me, this might just mean "dirty blonde"hair, which is what I think Nancy might be described as having. Think if it's her this was a CA SK not yet known to have Utah ties and he brought her back into the region, either alive or dead, via Lake Tahoe.
Think she may have been acquainted with the abductor, or one of the abductors if there were multiples, but this was perhaps just that: an acquaintance, not someone she had a deep, intimate connection with. Don't think it's Bundy, and don't think it's Alcala, but I might be wrong. (Actually can't be Alcala, just checked and he's incarcerated when Nancy goes missing. And just noting, one timeline I'm viewing is taking it as a foregone conclusion that Ted did indeed abduct Nancy. Wouldn't be too sure, do they have anything to support this?)
I don't think that's Bundy, either. I know a lot of people on here don't, and I don't, either. Unless Bundy was a part of something bigger, and Bundy just doesn't seem that type. But one never knows, I guess. Whatever the case, I do think this Doe does look like Nancy.
