A Utah man who was pulled over for a traffic stop is now facing murder charges, after the body of his former girlfriend was found in the back seat of his car.

During an interview with investigators, Johnson stated that he and Roney were previously in a relationship and that they had lived together in Herriman, court documents obtained by the outlet state, but that it was "over with their relationship."

According to a probable cause statement, Johnson is accused of killing Roney, whom he was involved in an intimate relationship with, at his home, putting her body in a cardboard box in the back of an SUV, then driving to a 7-Eleven located at 15871 S. Redwood Road
