This is so awful. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. IMO, there is no coincidence that the fire started after Morgan and her dog were locked in.

Snipped
On Sunday, Alexander Wardell, 30, was arrested on one felony charge of kidnapping and one charge of negligent homicide in relation to the incident. Officials said Wardell was Harris' boyfriend who admitted to intentionally locking her in the storage unit and walking away before it caught fire.

2News found that a warrant was issued by Salt Lake City police against Wardell for a probation violation on Feb. 16. Court documents show that Wardell paid a $5,000 bond and was released the next day — one day before the fatal fire.

If I understand correctly, Wardell could have been sent to prison for five years in 2018. Instead, he was given 36 months probation, which he violated over and over again, with no consequences.

Makes me so angry, had these monsters been sent to jail when they should have been, then a lot more people, and Animals would be alive today enjoying their precious lives
