I am attempting to remove that first post until I learn the rules better but am unable to see where to do that at?

Hit edit, backspace, or hit report & ask a mod to delete.

I saw some of that "poor me" on his facebook page, so you may be correct.
Yeah, I’m not surprised.

Just think about how grotesque that approach is.

This guy murdered a little girl, and he has the gall to complain to law enforcement about how he got dealt a bad hand in life.

Unfortunately for him, it’s about to get a hell of a lot worse.

I think Utah sentences are sometimes light, think Mark Hacking.

He cooperated with LEO, and confessed. And his family had plenty of cash for an attorney.

The information I am providing will not impede on the investigation. I will not provide any information of that nature. I am trying to contact an admin to become a verified insider and find out what info is and isn't allowed to be provided.
BBM (bolden by me): @Krayzee_kat_ladee,
Welcome! And thank you for trying to take the steps necessary to become a verified insider. Were you able to find an admin? @sillybilly was modding here earlier.

Not yet, but I sent an email to the verified insider link. Hoping to get a response quickly.

What are the chances that my post was SS'd before I could edit and sent out?

Tricia (WS owner) is online now, perhaps she can help with the verification as well as posts that may not be allowed.

And welcome!

Created by FindLaw's team of attorney writers and editors.
Although many states divide the crime of murder into first and second degree murder laws, the Beehive State only has murder and aggravated murder. Aggravated murder carries heavier penalties and includes the crime of murder in addition to other elements that make it a more serious crime. The following is a brief summary of Utah murder laws.

Utah Murder Laws:

The following table outlines murder laws in Utah.

Not sure. SS’d? 100%. Sent out? I dont know. I would hope not, but one never knows.
Hopefully you were able to edit it or someone reported it.
But regardless, welcome. Hope you stay, a local perspective is always appreciated.

How did he get 12 miles away from the home? On foot that is quite a long way.

A 5 mile walk at a casual pace with my friends takes me 1 and a half to an hour 40 minutes. We talk way too much so our pace isn’t fast. If he was in a hurry, he could have walked 12 miles in probably 3.5 hours, or less.

I did edit it, but I'm sure not fast enough. Those who did see it and possibly SS it, for the family's sake, please do not send it out to anyone. I will be more than happy to answer whatever questions you have to the best of my ability while not threatening the outcome of the case but I cannot do such with the risk of the family being traumatized by information.

Alex did not have a vehicle and walked EVERYWHERE. It was not unlike him at all to walk these distances. Add in some pumped up adrenaline from a possible incident and you have your answer.

He’s probably just feeling sorry for himself, and making excuses.

A psychotic break doesn’t explain his efforts to cover up this crime, which have been somewhat successful thus far.

You don’t hide a body, unless you know you did something wrong.

Sorry Alex, your “horrible life,” doesn’t mitigate what you did to your little niece.

No one will care about his extended version of “Alexander and the Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.”

I was just thinking that the claim of a psychotic break would be a trace more plausible if he’d dropped her body on the sidewalk and just kept wandering down the street. Wouldn’t be any less horrible, but it’d at least give his lawyers something to work with.

Again, unless this information is SPECIFICALLY released by Law Enforcement, it is considered gossip and not allowed under the terms of WebSleuths.

Please consider removing this information until you can better understand the posting rules.

WebSleuths has some very specific guidelines to assure information that may become evidence is not tainted and cannot be used to exonerate a guilty person, or to condem an innocent one. These rules are why WebSleuths is the best there is.
Jeeze, she's trying give the newbie a chance to edit her posts

Hopefully most of us have more sense than that. I don't even air my speculations/theories sometimes out of respect for family. And this case is a prime example.
