Possible sightings of Alex Whipple on Saturday. Police ask for anyone who may have seen him to contact them. Also ask people in the area to search their trash cans, any storage containers, sheds, etc. Police, "With the evidence, we believe Alex Whipple was involved in the disappearance of Elizabeth Shelley." This quote is from the PC.

Dead to think what he has done to this poor little girl.

"Since the beginning we have enough evidence that Alex was involved in Lizzy's disappearance. As soon as we have more info we will make this case available to you, around 3 p.m."

LE are asking for camera footage from business and asking residents to report anything they find on their property. LE are putting together a case and have all reason to believe AW is responsible for the disappearance of ES.

Jill Parker is speaking on behalf of the family now.

This PC is to giggly for me IMO.

"As a family we are overwhelmed, scared and sad. We are grateful for the searchers."
"We ask for privacy and respect for this difficult time, we hope for the safe return of our sweet girl Lizzy."

Can they not have his mom or gramma or someone close in his life go speak to him and make him give it up?
My son as soon as he would see me would break down.
It’s all so sad.

PC is over.

There's really not much there except for they have evidence pertaining to Alex, which is disturbing and troubling.
Overall I'm not sure exactly why they held this. The news people, police officer, and victim's advocate were all giggling and making jokes, not professional at all IMO.

I'm sure his lawyer is trying to get him to be honest though. I can't imagine having this case all of the sudden, must be frustrating. MOO

If my son lawyered up and wouldn’t talk to me we would have major issues.
Jmo and all that jazz.

That was a brief PC. They don't have much information so they did not answer any questions.

I am praying for Elizabeth and the families involved.

Not much of a press conference. Nothing new, brief statement from family. Next update at 3:00 pm via email and on the County Facebook page.

(If they call another Live press conference today, it’ll mean they have big news.)

It seems to happen in almost every one of these PC's. Maybe a defense mechanism?
