Usually in a gated neighborhood; the person that owns the property is responsible for all guests and family. Like in arrests, guns, hostage, drinkng, fighting crimes etc.,
The association can usually make motions and rules.
(In my case we can be kicked out even though we own our property and cottage.)
So dad probably will have Josh on a short leach.
Until Josh can get to Canada........IMO..........

Dad was not down to help Josh move, was he???

Doesn't sound like that'll be a big feat for him to conquer. From what little I've read, you'd think the umbilical cord was between dad and Josh, not Josh and his mom.

It was my understanding Powell Sr was at home to tend to the grandkids.

Peterson did not "buy" the swingset - he made it himself. I've known many people, including my own father who had craftsman skills and enjoyed sharing their gifts with others. He had gave the Powells the swingset play area just days before Susan disappeared. Her children never had the opportunity to play on it, before Josh moved the children to WA. Josh is moving. I don't blame Peterson for wanting something that he is personally connected to. Do you know how many hours of work had to been put into building it?

How can this be? If it was bitter cold, how do you build a swingset if they require being set in the ground with cement? Makes no sense.

One article stated that Tim Petersen made, gave it to the Powells, but was also for the Petersen children to play on too.

harleysnana,
First off, I don't have any anti-Josh links. Second, if I did I would not post that on a family page. I respect their wishes.

That said...
When I make a case album, I put all sides in. Good, bad, ugly.

I was a bit hot under the collar at them deleting, but I get it. They have trolls, and being an admin of anything is a thankless job. I guess I should not have mentioned my "stupid people" remark.

However, my opinion stands that they have become too full of themselves at getting 40K members to remember WHOM the page was for.

And yes, 40K is nothing to sneeze at. Except there is nothing a Facebook page can do to find Susan Powell.
That will take boots on the ground. Maybe in spring. Unless Josh tells.

In My Opinion, of course.

It was probably a kit. We built something similar from a kit we bought at Costco a couple years ago. It does NOT need cement. It is very sturdy and probably doesn't even need stakes until the kids are bigger. He could pound those in next Spring when the ground thaws.

When my son and I built our play structure, it took us 3 full days (although we are not that experienced in this type of thing). Which means that even though all the boards are pre-cut and pre-drilled, it still takes a lot of effort to put it together. He probably built it in units, then assembled the units at the site and probably was darn cold doing it!

I don't blame him for taking it back. Powell wasn't going to take it with him. No sense leaving it to just sit for however long it takes for a new tenant to move in. Could be quite a long time.

Forgive my confusion, was it photobucket who removed the photo's from your acct? What picture was it that they thought made Josh 'look bad'?

We bought a large swingset -- it has a playhouse, slide, climbing wall, rope "wall", picnic area, and three swings. We've had it up for almost a year and never cemented it into the ground. Based on the way it is designed, it is stable without being cemented in. Maybe they put it up now but were planning on cementing it in the ground in the spring or summer. With two young kids on it, I don't think it would tip.

I suggest they set the concrete base some time ago, with bolt points to attach to at measured intervals. Peterson builds the swingset in manageable pieces in his garage, with connectors set at the measured points. When it's done they take it across to the concrete base in pieces, screw it together, and bolt it down.

I don't know if that's how they did it, but that's how I'd do it.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up.

Photobucket is an account I pay for. They did not remove anything.

I posted the link at Friends and Family of Susan Powell. Then Chuck Cox sent a TY. Then they deleted my link. 3 times.
The reason given was because some of my photos were decidedly anti-Josh (their words).

But all is fine now, I think. We have reached an understanding that I am not a troll or whatever.

I like the truth. The truth. The truth.

You cannot find out what happened in a MP case without the truth.

You know just a few days ago a body was found close to the area Josh was supposed to have been camping. Not quite sure why searches are not being done. Knowing Josh she was probably just dumped along some road like that persons body was.

I just finished the Levi Page show. If you missed it we did talk alot about Susan and Caylee. Go here to listen to it. It should be uploaded soon.

I saw them and cannot imagine which one they thought was so 'anti-Josh' :waitasec:

Dr. Fessel, knowing that Josh had 2 littles in the car and that it was below freezing and he couldn't leave them for more than 20-30 minutes, wooded roadsides, gullys, cliffs, etc would be would be what I'd look for.

I remember a case I followed in the northland... they searched in winter. Didn't find her until spring but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Heck in Montana right now they are hunting for a guy everyday. They are even drilling holes in the ice on a stream.

So, just received it, kids hadn't even played on it, but JP is going to take it.
What a DB! (not that we didn't already know)

In our area also a man is missing and we are searching.........mountains, woods, deep snow and below 0-20 degree weather.
I just don't understand no searching.........
glad 1 person did arial search and found the man the other day.
Maybe more will follow his lead.

Has anyone wondered if he really took the kids out with him like he said he did? Could he have gone and disposed of her first, then came back with the boys, took them out and stayed gone to 'develop' his alibi? Would have been risky to take them along, imo. Speshly, the 4 year old may well be able to give LE info Josh wouldn't want them to have.

Was it verified if it was true that the one said 'Mommy is in the woods now.'? or is that hearsay at this time?

Did anyone see it actually loaded onto the moving van?

Does anyone else think, at this point with the info we have, that this is a case of second degree murder? Josh doesn't seem bright enough to have preplanned this.
