Has anyone wondered if he really took the kids out with him like he said he did? Could he have gone and disposed of her first, then came back with the boys, took them out and stayed gone to 'develop' his alibi? Would have been risky to take them along, imo. Speshly, the 4 year old may well be able to give LE info Josh wouldn't want them to have.

Was it verified if it was true that the one said 'Mommy is in the woods now.'? or is that hearsay at this time?

The mommy in the woods thing is still just rumor. I have always thought the sledding trip was when he got rid of her.

that was hearsay/rumor from comments posted at another site (KSL.com IIRC).

You are so right. I do not believe Josh's timeline at all. I'll go with others.
Jovonna left at 5:30pm
1 Witness saw him come home at 8:30 pm..........(suppose to be sledding)
Car alarm heard from neighbor about midnight??
Another neighbor said he saw van leaving at 4:40 AM.??
Le said Josh arrived home about 5pm. with boys.
I'm tired forgive me for no links, just memory. IIRC

Did anyone see it actually loaded onto the moving van?

Does anyone else think, at this point with the info we have, that this is a case of second degree murder? Josh doesn't seem bright enough to have preplanned this.

I am still not sure about that, if drugging or poison was involved it will be first degree.

TY! Figured it was, but wanted to be sure. Gotta be careful with testimony from kids. While they speak the truth, unless they can also set up their statements, its hard to tell if you are 'hearing' them right, know what I mean?

If he disposed of her while sledding, can't imagine how with the kids around??:waitasec:

Who is Jovanna?

Sadly, as bad as the public wants information, some of these 'witnesses' may not be credible, either. No apologies needed about lack of links. :) I understand.

Jovonna (I might spell her name wrong) is a neighbor/friend that was at the house doing croceting with Susan and ate dinner with the couple that JOS cooked. Josh rarely ever cooked. Susan got ill or sleepy while Jovanna was there and Susan went to bed. Jovonna claims she left around 5:30pm because Josh wanted to take his boys(age 2 & 4) sledding. (in the dark, on a bitter cold night) IIRC......

Agreed. I know we have to be careful of what we say here and was trying to be careful and go on what seemed to be confirmed information. One thing I heard is he said she wasn't feeling well. Then on the one interview newsclip, he denied she was sick and said she was feeling fine.

Some things I wonder:

This 'friend' of his who doesn't want to have his image captured via video or photo; could he have disposed of her body while Josh and the kids went sledding?

Could he have temporarily 'kept watch' of an unconscious or dead Susan at home while Josh was gone with the kids?

I had read one of the items the police took was a bedspread. So if she was just lying on the bedspread, she had to have been there for awhile before he disposed of the body?

Could the friend be involved? Anyone think he did this alone or with the help of an accomplice?

If she died before the sledding trip, where were the kids while she died?

(snipped) Unfortunately, the guilty party would have confessed by now, if truth were at all important to him. Our problem lies in being careful not to disclose the identity of someone who has access to the truth, since there are those who would chose to warn the murderer, rather than rejoice in being one step closer to the murderer being brought to justice.

Welcome to the board, Dwight! Your posts provide a good overview of the "defense". It is important to remember where they are coming from, whether we agree or not. You seem to be good at seeing things from that side of the table. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.) Have you any experience in this area, or do you just enjoy a healthy debate?

Thank you. I think what bothers me is when people make statements that are so emphatic that people no longer are interested in following due process. If I was to estimate how sure I was of JP's guilt, I would say probably 85% - 90%, somewhere in there. And I think that's rather extreme given that so far we have been shown not a shred of evidence. Only that JP has the opportunity (some would add motive, but that's speculation), and his alibi for the time period in question cannot be verified by anyone or anything except his four-year old.

If I were placed on a jury and not one piece of incriminating evidence were provided, no way would I vote to convict. It's just not right to convict the most likely suspect just because he's not acting in a way we feel he should be acting. But give me something - If one of the boys said that JP told them that "Mommy has to stay out in the woods for awhile", I would convict on that. But right now, no. Again, there are probably dozens of cases that I have watched the analysis of for example on "the First 48", or "MSNBC 48 Hours Mystery" where the guilty person turned out to be someone that NOBODY had looked at as a suspect before.

She could have just been boxed up or wrapped up in the van and the kids would have never known why daddy was throwing the package out of the van.

I guy who just murdered his wife would have no problem locking is kids in a room till he got back from his trip too.

Premeditation only takes a split second decision. There are several factors that warrant First degree or felony murder. Murder while commiting a felony, particularly henious and cruel or financial gain are typical for most states.

Usually in a gated neighborhood; the person that owns the property is responsible for all guests and family. Like in arrests, guns, hostage, drinkng, fighting crimes etc.,
The association can usually make motions and rules.
(In my case we can be kicked out even though we own our property and cottage.)
So dad probably will have Josh on a short leach.
Until Josh can get to Canada........IMO..........

Dad was not down to help Josh move, was he???

No but karen md and I recall it being reported early on that SP was in WVC not long after Susan "vanished." Perhaps daddy offered his son some... "assistance" earlier.

I just finished the Levi Page show. If you missed it we did talk alot about Susan and Caylee. Go here to listen to it. It should be uploaded soon.

Thanks - I did listen to it and it was really informative. When you mentioned the info about the person who had actually helped Josh pack up and was outraged about his demeanor and his only concern seemed to be for his furniture -- is that on a recent thread here, or is that someone who is only in contact with you? Just want to go back and find it if it is there -

(Sorry, I've been on little Gabriel for the past few days and need to go back and catch up!)

Thanks!

FWIW, LDS members church files usually follow them wherever they go. IMO, it's something that's done automatically. They keep their records pretty up to date. I know some ex members who's files have followed them to the nearest ward no matter where they move to and the missionaries never fail to show up to welcome them. lol.

Long story, IIRC, one of our posters threw that time out to make a point. I don't believe anyone saw Josh leave at 4:40am.
