bbm

What the heck is that?

First of all, and I have been meaning to ask for a while now, what does 'bbm' stand for?

Second, I also noticed on the one interview he did by the car on the street with a reporter, he denied the allegations that Susan as not feeling well, and that indeed she was feeling fine. Did anyone else notice that?

So if Jovanna said Susan said she wasn't feeling well or was sleepy (and which was it? Was she both sleepy and not feeling well, or just sleepy or just not feeling well?), and Josh said that no, she was feeling fine, ???

I saw a wet/dry vac in one of those moving pictures! Let me go find that again...

TY! Thing is though, it was reported that LE took a carpet cleaner with them; they weren't specific if it was a shampooer or a steamer. I would like to think if the wet/dry vac was suspect to the police, they would have taken it along with them? :shrugs: :waitasec:

Yes, LDS are anti-alcohol. I don't even think the guy discussing alcohol was even saying the perp was drunk; but predicted that his personality changes severely when he has a drink.

Agreed, it would be interesting just to tuck this away somewhere to pull it out after the case is solved.

I've personally never seen a case where a pychic's been helpful. I think I heard once where Laci Peterson's mom (I THINK it was her) said one psychic was spot on with her drawings, etc. But sadly I think those with that kind of blessed gift are few and far between within a sea of wannabes and scam artists.

Not to mention, kids are so clingy at that age and like to be close by. Mine are a bit older than Susan's and most times now I can finally use the restroom in peace. They also like to be around the parents and have a bad habit of walking in your intended path - its like they are human versions of cats. Not to mention they are curious and want to know everything. So it just makes me wonder, based on what I go through with my kids, and have confirmed with other moms - how much he would have been able to accomplish in their presence.

Um, millions of parents are able to "accomplish" Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, ... etc for years. I drove around with the boys Xmas and birthday presents in the back of the SUV all the time - for weeks at a time. When we went camping or skiing (when the boys were younger, i.e. 2-7 year old) they had no idea where we ended up. I found it really easy to pack / load, but kids in the car and accomplish almost anything in their presence - and I have two active curious boys.

To not take a loss on monthly rental payments, Josh would have to charge too much to make it marketable.

Per bankruptcy records Schedule J, the monthly mortgage not including property insurance or taxes was $1296. Add the insurance and taxes and it's closer to $1500 a month in payments. For a 1100 sq foot 3/2.5 house?

The closest rental house that I've found in West Valley City is 1500 sq feet 3/2 and they are asking $1200 a month which probably includes a bit of a profit margin. http://hotpads.com/search/listing/1...&loan=30,0.0525,0&visible=new,viewed,favorite

Unless someone wants to rent it from him out of charity, IMO the value just isn't there for that kinda dough! It makes for a good soundbite though, Joshy.

In this day and age, the economy being what it is, it is still smart to rent it out even if you can't get the whole mortgage pymt. We used to rent a brand new 3BR 3 bath house in FL for only a grand and it even included a new washser and dryer in the house. Surely the owner paid more than that, but to at least get someone in there, the owner made the rent appealing. There were small rent increases after that, but, well, I think you know where I'm going with this.

I think the fight was on in the home Sunday night and Susan told him she was leaving and grabbed her purse and cell phone and set them on the bed while she was getting dressed to leave. I bet she was going to her SIL's with the kids and that was the end. I suspect the SIL either got a call from her that night that she was coming or the SIL has put 2 and 2 together and figured this out and that is why she is not a Josh supporter.

just catching back up as I do daily... and I just have to say that I am shocked there is no arrest yet.

And as for Mister Brian and his dreams... he is a no no here (just a reminder as I don't want anyone to get in trouble)

ITA as I know that our landlord takes a $600 hit on our house every month, because he couldn't sell it in a timely manner. BUT he also has a very good job and can afford to absorb the loss. Joshy, not so much. My point being, that it sounds good for Joshy to say he's keeping the house, but I just don't see it happening.

Oh and BBM means Bolded By Me.

I think that's an excellent theory.

It seems to me, that if he really believed Susan was missing, instead of murdered, wild horses couldn't drag him away from the home they shared.

He's like the poster boy for 'How to Make Yourself Look Guilty'. jeez.

Here is a post I wrote up awhile back and is a little dated but I wanted to get permission for it first. The article at the link supplies a lot of stuff about how Mormons believe Mormons even when they should not. Here is the post I asked permission for..

This guy we keep seeing might be Josh's Bishop from the church. Josh's bishop might be implying to his flock to not judge Josh or that he believes Josh is innocent. Here is a good article by a Mormon explaining how Mormons tend to believe Mormons even when they should know better. This might explain some strange things we have heard from close friends. Really I think this could apply to any strong religion.

Well, I hope they step up on the searches and find Susan soon. Josh just left the state. I don't think he's going to talk. We are waiting for something to happen other than Josh riding off into the sunset. Hopefully, find Susan, get the testing results back, get this man behind bars, and get the children with the best guardians that will love them and help them heal. (the kids will most likely need some counseling once they're old enough to realize what was really going on that night)

Susan's out there someplace and she wants to be found.

(bbm) Curious I feel your frustration!! I think we all do at this point!!!

I believe it was a carpet steam cleaner (not shopvac) which was taken as evidence along w quilt and other items siezed. Don't believe that's been returned, either afaik.

Honestly, you'd probably get lots of different takes on this. Especially about alcohol. Many mormons are OK with having (or a family member having) occasional diet coke. It's kind of funny--diet coke is more accepted than having a coffee. I don't know why, it just is.
Most aren't tolerant at all about a glass of wine, or a beer.

Ok so as long as it's diet... lol

N/K this is a No-Brainer. Time to play,

How Many Stranger Abduction, Home invasion, Random Kidnappers Do You Know Who...

1) Bring along their own Bissell Steam Machine (or can locate one on the premises) and stick around to steam clean the carpets after their crimes...?

2) Bring along their own portable fans (or can locate them on the premises) and take time to position them so as to dry damp spot during the night...?

3) Are able to lock the home (it was securely locked w no sign of forced entry) behind them without the keys--left inside the home...?

4) Anticipate an impromptu middle-of-the-night-camping-trip-w-toddlers-in-tow-in-subfreezing-temps-and-snowstorm by the victim's husband...?

5) Anymore....?

From the article:
We sometimes reason that since we pay our tithing, attend the temple regularly and always get our visiting teaching done in the first half of the month we are entitled to a blessing.

What is 'visiting teaching'? Is that when they go door-to-door?
