why 'test' a new generater out on a night like that?
Your 2 sons being the gunea pigs?
NOT! If he had it, he used it for other things.
Maybe he didn't even use it...........
He could of tested it in the DAY TIME AT HOME!!!

Okay, help me out here, and please forgive my memory problems and double spacing.

The children were suppose to go to daycare, didn't show up,

then the daycare person calls Josh's sis, (or was she the daycare person?)

Josh's sister or somone starts making all these phone calls,

it's discovered no Susan or Josh at work,

Josh's sis and the Mom live together,

Josh's sister knows something is very wrong,

then Josh's Mom goes to the house hoping she'll find them,

she can't get in the house and no one answers, van's gone.

She calls the Police.

Police go out to the house and break window to get into house.

Calls by many people to Josh's phone are ignored

Until finally, sometime around 3 pm Jovanna gets through to Josh

It takes him another 2 hrs to get back to the house.

At that point, he already knows Susan is missing. Plenty of time on the way back to ditch stuff like gloves or augers off road. However, the generator is still in the van and Josh knows he has to mention it in his alibi. Are the Police right there waiting to investigate when Josh gets back?

Did I get the facts and timeline correct so far?

(bbm) Yes this is accurate for the most part afaik. Again, I think he admitted to "testing" the generator because either his boys or someone else may have heard. You are correct... IMO there is no other good reason to volunteer up this juicy tidbit.. :thumb:

Maybe Josh didn't have a big piece of plastic to wrap her in. Maybe she is wrapped in the tent and that is why he says they slept in the van. Maybe the tent is gone.

hope that LE looked at or for a tent, tent cover or a missing tarp!

ETA Curious it's been discussed this eve that LE was unfortunately not waiting there at house for JP when he returned... which as I said, tho almost surely along the route home--or into the lake w Susan--would have still given him all the time in the world to dispose of.

I think he couldn't part w the freakin generator lol. Too cheap... too cocky... or a little of both?

When Susans dad heard about the wet spot (and he had to have heard about it from Josh's sister) he said it gave them hope their had been an accident or something and they had to go to the hospital. That really makes me think the wet spot was poorly cleaned up blood.

I think the daycare person called Susan's parents first?

I don't think Josh's mom and sister live together. IIRC, she is married; it was her husband who handled Josh's initial press conference?

I think it was Josh's sister who went into the home with the police?

I do think Jovanna was the one who finally got up with JP.

We need to have all this organized somehow...

I remember in one article I read it was Josh's Mom and Sister that called the police about them missing. His sister went into the house with the police.

So glad you're here, Dr.Fessel!:blowkiss:

I wasn't sure if Josh's sister also went with the Mom to the house, but I believe you're right. I must have read the same article.

OT, look at this cute smilie I found.

TY it is great to be back after my little vacation!!!!!!!!!

He could have taken a second pair of shoes etc then later had "several hundred miles" to change out of boots and toss them Lord knows where...

And might have taken the generator strictly for warmth (heater) while working in the freezing cold.

I can't find it right now but someone posted of pic of susan from the year before and no wedding ring on.

I find that interesting because i read a post on another site today and they had a picture of Stacy Peterson a year before she dissapeared in the same kind of pic with her kids and she had no wedding ring on.

Slightly OT - I don't wear my wedding ring anymore because it is too small now. :blushing:

On a more serious note, there have been times where I just refused to wear it, given my feelings about a certain situation. So, yeah...I can see where she would have taken if off.

He didn't need the excuse of testing the generator for camping, he had the great smores story. LOL

No passion agree this was not a generator "test run" nor a coincidence--it had a purpose. Or he'd never have taken or admitted to it.

I keep thinking he called someone and they said they would help get rid of her and told him what to bring.

Oh dear, it must have been described that way. Blood! Badly cleaned up is very hopeful. Why didn't he use a blow dryer on the wet stain, as it's so much faster? Afraid to wake the boys?

Here is another thing I keep thinking of. He would take as much time as he needed and he would not hesitate to lock those kids in a bedroom and leave the house or lock them in the van while he did his dirty work. After all he just did the worst thing in the world to them. He killed their mother.

Can't help but concur with both of you. I think we're all adult enough to come to the consensus to agree to disagree about any role a generator may have played, whether it was loud or a newer model, if any augers came into play and so on. There are other disposal possibilities during the winter.

:rolling: He has really ruined the smores experience for me.

Agreed. We need some evidence to come out. Otherwise we're left with all kinds of scenarios to work with.
