UT - Susan Powell, 28, West Valley City, 6 Dec 2009 #7

WS is a victim friendly site, and both the Cox family and her best friend Kiirsi are victims, not problems.

I agree the priority needs to be placed on finding Susan and not pointing fingers. I can't help but see finger pointing in your post. I also can't see how you figure the perp and/or POI is not the problem.

To say that other people are the problems and not the perp is outlandish. Someone needs to seriously work on their reasoning skills. Of course, we've known this from the beginning....."great" minds think alike. :loser:+ :loser:= BS. Pfssst.

I spontaneously put my lips together and out came a noise sounding like a long winded, high pitched fart!
:clap::dance::clap:

The "women gossiping over a clothesline" remark and the "you need to learn to think" comment really say it all for Josh's "friends."

It seems we've touched a nerve in the idea of much wider searches.

I think a nerve has too been touched and messages are going out from WA to start a spin.

A little introspection is suggested for above. Seems the synapses have degenerated.....like ground meat.

Body found in St. George, Utah. Not much information is known at this point:

St George is a 4 -5 hour drive from West Valley. It's 4 for me, there was some construction though and he wouldn't have wanted to be speeding so it may have taken 5.

If he really did buy a cutting torch Monday morning, it would have had to be at least 8-9am before he bought it if he went to St George and back first. 8 hours would be pushing it, even to just go there and turn around and come back.

If she was in St George, why would he buy the cutting torch at all?

If he bought the cutting torch first, at 7am he would have had 10 hours to get down there and back which would have been enough time.

The other alternative is that he took her to St George when he rented the car a few days later. 24 hours is more than enough time. It would fit in with "several hundred miles" - 600 miles round trip. However, this wouldn't explain the burns to his hands if he just dumped her. Where would those have come from?

I am not real optimistic it's Susan unfortunately...I still think she is in a mine shaft.

Maybe Steven Koecher?

Edd Lope?

Those are the two in the last 5 or so years that stand out to me in that area. There are of course Salt Lake County ones too.

I doubt it's her. The site is so close to the road it seems like probably a transient. Also, the area is scrubby at best, not pines or forest of any kind. But you never know.

It does strike me as a possibility that the perp may have had plans to put her in a mine or cave, been thwarted by bars or a covering, bought the torch, not known how to use it, and given up and dumped her somewhere.

One thing about Josh that sticks with me is how he had a lot of plans but not good follow-through, or they weren't realistically executed.

What argues against that for me is that I think she was being slowly poisoned, or given drug overdoses to see how much would knock her out. If the police had blood on the carpet, I think he would have been arrested by now. (I'm willing to admit I could be totally wrong about that.) To me, it's more likely that she vomited - suspicious on the carpet with a woman missing, but not something you could arrest for. If she was being poisoned or drugged with something ordinary - say, Valium or Motrin - it would be hard to say that she'd been killed. Perhaps the goal was just enough to knock her unconscious so that she would be manageable for the drive.

I'm still trying to figure out how a whimpy guy who has to buy a motor for his bicycle can get a woman from a house into a van all by himself.

i,m just trying to come up with some possible and plausible ideas for susan,s sudden disappearance, still think there could be some government involvement either witness protection or susan knew something or saw something she shouldn,t have.there is absolutely no forensics evidence or blood evidence to link josh to her disappearance.if there were they would have nabbed him along time ago.they should have done a house by house search and they didn,t do it.that was one of their mistakes.

everyone is welcome to come on here and debate this issue and this case openly.personally now i don,t think josh had anything to do with susan,s disappearance.i,m now wondering if susan,s familky had a very large life insurance policy on her.but i still believe that there is definetly government involvement in susan,s disappearance.other people are being looked at now.i think my theory is a more lucrative theory,if the government is involved,i can tell you this the government will not give up it,s secrets.like i,ve said there are things our government is involved in if we really knew it would make our hair stand on end.either susan is in protective custody because she found something out her stock clients or maybe her clients are stationed at dugway, maybe she found something out about one of her clients at dugway and they made her disappear.the people at area 51 are smarter than we give them credit for.do your research on dugway proving grounds aka area 51.

WOW! There are no words.

Can't believe witness protection would separate you from two wee ones such as sons were.
Area 51? Seriously? :waitasec:

Go to that link and read for yourself. She's not the only one who thinks that's a possibility! Why isn't there a flying saucer with a nut driving it under "More" under Smiles? Lol!

I'm still trying to figure out how a whimpy guy who has to buy a motor for his bicycle can get a woman from a house into a van all by himself.

As one example, with Rohypenol, my understanding is that the drugged person can actually walk normally but just has no ability to object to where they are being taken. They appear normal to bystanders.

Or suppose that Susan felt ill and was told, we'll get you into the van and get you to the hospital. Once in the van, she could have been knocked out.

Another possibility is that anything wrapped in plastic slides very easily. This seems like the least likely scenario to me because of the possibility of the children seeing this strange sight and become very loud with crying, etc. But you never know - if threatened that they must be quiet - this sight could pretty much make them quiet forever (in much the same way that abusers will kill an animal in front of kids to threaten them).

Too, a person could have no lung capacity because they're a smoker or out of shape, so need a motor for a bike. But they may still be physically strong enough to carry someone in a firefighter's hold over the shoulder.

(St. George, UT) - St. George Firefighters discovered a badly decomposed body after dousing a brush fire caused by the fireworks celebration in St. George Saturday.

The body was found near 450 East Red Hills Parkway at the bottom of a 100-foot cliff. St. George Police said the body looked like it had suffered burn damage and was so badly decomposed they couldn't immediately identify it as a male or female.

<<SNIP>>

Hmmm ... "The body looked like it had suffered burn damage." Perhaps Josh didn't suffer WIND burn on his hands after all. Was the burn damage from the brush fire or from something else?

imho

I wish reporters would take the time, when writing an article about a body found, to enter the closest address (or provide a link to an online map with the area pinpointed) so readers could look it up on Google Earth!

During the fireworks display a small brush fire was stared at about 450 East Red Hills Parkway.

http://connect2utah.com/news-story/?nxd_id=97705

When you look it up, it's technically just 450 Red Hills Parkway St George, Utah 84770.

Wow that's a long link. lol

(Feel free to ask me in the future about any Utah ones, I usually know.)

Here's the weather for St. George on the 7th and 13th of December. The days of Susan and Steven K's disappearance....No snow.

http://www.wunderground.com/history...tml?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

It doesn't really snow in St George. That is why people go down there to retire. It's horribly hot.... (anything above 80 is too much for me. I am trapped inside today in Northern Utah. lol)

But yeah, the weather would have been fine there. It would have been getting down there, depending on the time he went. The storm started at 3am. So depending on whether he went during the night or during the day...

I believe the burn damage was from this brush fire, or another one. St George is a very hot area and it doesn't take much for a fire to spread. Someone trying to burn a body right here would have been noticed. Especially since it more than likely would have been dark while Josh was there. If there was burning involved he was in a canyon or somewhere far more remote than this.

Perhaps the "burn damage" menat was an effort to burn fingerprints off - similar to that sick stepfather case where he bashed in the kid's face and teeth so that getting a dental impression would be more difficult.

I was under the impresssion the burn damage was caused by the fire that night of the fireworks. ?? If there was burn damage prior, they certainly need to clarify that in the media. There have been many "suicides" by fire in the past year or two in Utah...which I can't even imagine...but I wouldn't rule it out at this point. Hopefully we will get an update tomorrow.

I was just coming to post about this body that was found and I see you all are already on top of it. I am going to see if there are any updates. It says the body was found at the bottom of a 100 foot cliff, wouldnt that be convient....brb
