I guess they must never have had the precisely right evidence to charge the guy she was last seen with, if he was otherwise a suspect. She was last seen on New Year's Day or maybe early morning. I wonder if there was any connection to a New Years party or something?

Is it confirmed that Sydnee disappeared on January 1st, or is it just the default date set by NamUs because the real DLC is unknown? (most sources seems to say January or "early January").
