UT- Three arrested in death of abused 12 year old.

Nichole Scott pled guilty to murder in this case. She was going to go to trial and they enhanced her charges to aggravated murder. So she pled to murder. I worked with all three of the defendants. I want to write the judge. is that allowed? I have never been involved in something like this. Shane Peterson is a bad man and he got off easy. Nichole was there with him every day. But Shane has charisma and I think he is going to get off easy. I am worried. Can anyone help me understand the parole system in Utah. It seems like they are going to get out pretty quick.

What I don't understand about the DCFS records is they "find no evidence of abuse". Can't they look at the child and see how thin he is? Did they even try to ask him what he had to eat? How about asking if he is free to leave his room? I think DCFS has blood on their hands given the timeline and the amount of times they were called to check out these children.

How could you not want to hug him all day long?
His picture makes me want to smile at his happy-looking face, hug him and treat him to ice cream, toys, and a warm comfortable bed.
Then the reality of it all makes me (and so many others here and elsewhere) want to scream and just cry, and more, but I cannot print it here.
