During Englerts testimonty Prosecutor Anna Rossi asked "In your review of that item as a whole, what does that tell you went on in Uta's bedroom? Eglert replied, "That this comforter is consistent with a violent struggle."

A struggle that the prosecution beleives caused Uta Von Schwedler to have knife wounds to her wrists and legs. Rossi then asked Englert "In your opinion, are these defensive wounds or self inflicted wounds? Englert replied," defensive"

However defense attorney, Fred Metos and his legal team question Englerts analysis of the crime scene. "My question is did you ever go back informing your opinion these were defensive wounds? asked Defense Attorney Fred Metos. To which Englert replied, no I did not."
