I couldn't sleep and wanted to look up some things on the Doe Network and get a message "this account has been suspended contact your hosting provider" sounds like they need to renew their webhost account... I hope it's not an issue of lack of funds.

I made a working map of the Great Basin Murders. I will continue to refine it. The points are color coded as a timeline 70's yellow, 80's orange, 90's red, 00's purple...

(especially with the older cases, the map points are just based on the best info I could find and not GPS accurate).

I can see a pattern: the 70's cases are concentrated in the Salt Lake area, 80's extending from Wyoming to Las Vegas, 90's continuing the pattern plus scattering north to include Idaho and Montana.

None of the identified victims were from the Eastern US; they were all either from the Great Basin area or the West Coast. Maybe this can help to ID some of the UID's.

I've taken an interest in these cases. I'm blown away by how many there are. I checked out your map. It's helpful but I see some cases I don't know about or you're using a name I'm not familiar with unidentified bodies. Can you add the NamUs IDs?

I've been researching and taking notes but I now have so much data I have to organize it better. I'm going to put together an Excel spreadsheet to help do this. I've been using NamUs on my computer for research so I can view the comparisons tab (not available on my phone) and I have a couple potential matches that haven't been ruled out yet. Are you still working to identify some of the unidentified found in the Great Basin area?

Wow. I've spent the last few days investigating these murders and now have a list of 27 names or unidentified bodies beginning in the 1970s. At least a couple serial killers must responsible.

Attorneys represented Dale Wayne Eaton, who is sentenced to death in Wyoming for the disappearance and murder of Lisa Marie Kimmell in 1988 are back in appeals court with a novel argument that Eaton is too paranoid to participate in his own mental health examination without a lawyer present to speak for him, and therefore an execution should not proceed.
Many interested people, including me, believe that Eaton was primarily responsible for the majority of the "Great Basin murders". IMO

I think the Great Basin killings are likely the result of two or more killers. However, I do believe Eaton is responsible for some of them. The delays in his execution are ridiculous. Everything you are saying is very true. Eaton doesn't seem to me to really care whether he lives or dies. It's all a game to him. IMO

A Wyoming court has turned down the latest appeal, and ordered that Dale Wayne Eaton must undergo another evaluation to determine if he is mentally competent to be executed.

Stella McClean gets my mind really working though. She was last seen at a restaurant in Scottsbluff Nebraska. And lived in Gering. Just makes me curious how she would have ran into this man
