Lynchburg mother faces felony homicide charge in relation to infant's death

A mother charged with child neglect after a baby in Lynchburg was found dead now faces new charges, according to authorities.

According to the Lynchburg Police Department, 23-year-old Endia Walker was formally served on Monday with an additional charge in connection with the death of her 5-month-old child.

An investigation was launched, in which the warrants say it was discovered that the baby was "in an obvious state of malnutrition."
