She works at Kid to Kid in Charlottesville. Very close to the theater. Less than 1 mile north of theater.

Which indicates (to me anyway) that she is either voluntarily missing, or she knows the person responsible for her being missing. No way this is random with her car showing up that close to a regular location for her.

Murphy's father Paul Brown says he's so grateful her car has been found. He's hoping this can lead to some substantial leads in the search for his daughter.

She left Saturday night so how did she get a phone call Sunday morning? She must be mistaken.

I think the aunt is talking about the call she got saying Alexis was missing, not a call from Alexis.

ABC 13 has confirmed with Murphy's family that Alexis is employed at a consignment shop less than a half mile from the Carmike Theatre.

Investigators have relocated their command center, previously at the Tye River Elementary School in Nelson County, to that parking lot next to Murphy's white Nissan Maxima.

Possibly nothing. The sketches are the suspect in Morgan Harrington's murder, which also happened in Charlottesville. The photo is of a possible suspect, I guess, but I'm not sure where he came from.

The photo is of a murder suspect in a murder at a hotel on VA-29 close to the time Alexis went missing. Based upon a recent news report I linked up thread, he may have been in jail at the time of the Harrington murder.

Yes, I agree...she was trying to be "hot" and I can't talk bad about that, I was soooo like that at her age - granted I did NOT post pics basically in my underwear - but I did like the attention...thank GOD I'm not like that anymore and it was just a phase for me, I grew up and just recently got engaged and have been with my Fiance for 4 years...I kind of think of him as my hero bcs I don't know where I would be today without him, back then I just wanted to be loved by someone, anyone - my parents got divorced when I was 16 so that made me act out and I didn't trust anyone - never got into drugs or drinking, just tried to be "hot" lol. Im just glad that no one kidnaped me or worst bcs I too would post where I was going. I was so young and SO beyond dumb. What I'm trying to say is IMO she wants to be love, and craving attention from anyone that will give it to her...this might just be a "phase" for her - I did see videos of her smoking what looks to be weed I just hope it want a drug deal gone bad, but that's not likely. I just don't have a good feeling about this one - I'm just hoping for the best, that she is found safe.

Ok, so now we know that the gas station is in Lovingston. That's more on the way to Charlottesville and the Carmike theater. Seems odd to head in that direction if she were going to Lynchburg.

I don't think she was ever "burg bound".

One of the articles referred to the theater as the "old" Carmike Theater...

Does that mean it is "old" as in abandoned?...
