I also thought it was a possibility a family member was involved too. I was on Alexis twitter and she commented that some family member said she has a rump on her.Alexis said that he was a pervert. I found that incident to be disturbing to say the least.

Still think this was a perp from the Liberty gas station. I suppose it could've been a family member, but I'm just not feeling it right now.

If they've moved down to the county line, they have an idea where she is. It's all woods there, large tracks of private property, everything from vagrant shacks to new single family homes.

This pic is looking up the lane where the police car is on the NBC twitter feed.

I've looked but cannot find any "recent arrests" anywhere. It all keeps leading me back to the same frigging site.

The FBI announcement only mentions Nelson County. It doesn't mention Albemarle county.

Vinelink shows that both Nelson and Albemarle county jail records are shared in the same database. Unfortunately, a name is needed to search. I could find no inmate searches for either Sheriff's department on their individual websites. I suppose someone could look at Charlottesville city police, but I'm not sure if they are searchable either.

Glad there's been an arrest made.

Now wherein Alexis?

@jellybeanz, looks creepy, lots of overgrowth, but that car is parked on a path so maybe there's a dwelling there.

If I remember correctly, abduction is a federal crime, it's not a state crime like murder, so that might have something to do with why those records aren't readily available.

I can't wait till more details are released. It's always so scary when there is an arrest but no recovery of the victim.

The easiest way to find out the name may be to look up tomorrow as a "hearing date" on the VA Courts website. Abduction is a felony and therefore there will be an arraignment. Arraignments are normally held within a week of the perp being arrested. But like I said, I work in the legal defense field and I think its more than likely this charge is going to be sealed from the public because it involved a minor. It will most likely be held in the JDR courts.

Virginia has abduction charges as well. It is a State crime and a person doesn't even have to take the person far from there original location. It can be a matter of feet.
