Hello! I saw a show that featured this website and I thought I'd post about my cousins case in here. I'm not quite sure if this is the right section or not.
My Cousin Alisha "Lisa" Johnson went missing in July or 1996 from Alexandria, Va. Her legs were found in fauquier, County in a couple of weeks later. But at that time they were identified as hers and were said to be legs of a Caucasian woman. My cousin was black. Alisha left the home of a friend to go to the store and never came back. She left behind a daughter and a son who was 1 at the time. Prior to Alishas disappearance and murder, the father of her son was murdered a few months before she gave birth. I don't know if it's linked together or not but I have my questions.
Alisha sister Sonya yvonne Johnson was also murder in fauquier County in 2006, and I don't know if that's connected either. I just know someone knows something and I want to give my cousin, the last remaining sister, some closure. Sonya daughter Sade Naomi Hatfield was murdered Prior to her death, so our family has experienced an emence amount of tragedy and I want to get to the bottom of Alishas case. Their father died in 2021, before he could get any answers.
Please please please if anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I already reached out to the detectives that were on the case and a new detective is supposedly reopening the case.
