These are 18 and 19 year old kids. Until they receive actual confirmation that it is AJ, they will continue to believe she is ok. I think this is how they are dealing with the stress of the situation, by denying it.

I hope for the sake of AJ they are putting whatever bad blood behind them for the moment, and just embracing you and accepting the love and support you have to offer. You deeply care about AJ and if anyone knows that, it's everyone here!!! You gave us only a glimpse into your love and devotion to AJ. Most of us here felt and understood that!
