Completely agree.

However, I truly don't think there's ANY chance he was not somehow involved. He has played games with LE since day one, changed his story, said they would "never" find the gun, coincidentally happened to find AJ's clothes and jacket, had work in Franklin, etc. He has been cocky since the start of all of this. GAME OVER, WH.

Biggest factor for me is his sister losing trust in him after remains were found.

Too many coincidences where WH is concerned by far.

I very much appreciate you bringing AJ to WS. Obviously we were all hoping for a GOOD outcome but no matter how painful this is, we're all better off in some way for "knowing" AJ as much as we could, through this forum, from Zach coming on board, and hearing from people who's kids went to school with her, etc.

Now... #justice4AJ amen??!!

Now I'm just really pissed too.

I know what you mean. It is indeed an emotional roller coaster here. I've gone from tears, to anger, to delirium.

Again, imagine how Zach, other family and her sisters feel! People who knew and loved her.

Makes me so angry too, Pittie.

I think he did this all to himself.
He inserted himself into every aspect of this investigation.
IMO it was very strange.

I don't think he was being open about himself at all.

Hi Eileen! You are right, he made it all about him. I'm glad he was so high he couldn't shut up. I heard a detective on ID channel the other night say "If you didn't know the truth, you couldn't lie" and that's exactly what I think WH did. Like another poster said, if it weren't for him, we might not have the clues we have had. I think LE got the pings/mileage/store videos (if there were any), plus his car(s). The backstory can wait for me as I just want to see how it unfolded (like him being late after lunch, lunch spent staring at her-both 30 minutes? what?) but I am satisfied with my gut feeling on this one. Thanks!

Though the weight of this horrible prospect has loomed, today extinguishes our hope of AJ’s safe return and confirms our worst fear. Our thoughts are profoundly with her family. These past weeks, they have endured unimaginable anguish and uncertainty, and now they must confront the terrible grief of this loss.

There is nothing in published literature that I could find that links a game over eyelid tattoo with the AB. The only mention is speculation in response to an unrelated forum user's question about someone he met in prison (who could have been WH for all we know). From wikipedia:
Voluntary facial tattoos signify that the bearer does not expect to be released back into normal society within his lifetime, and will usually consist of tattoos on the eyelids of messages such as "Don't Wake Me Up."

I do have access to an offline publication* on tattoos & gang affiliations. I checked when the question first came up, and "Game Over" is not listed in relation to the AB, nor any other major gangs.

I did find - online - references to "wannabes" and their tattoos of this and similar "slogans".

(*My job was to proofread it before it was published. That's how I ended up with a copy of it :) )

This is only two cents, but I'll go ahead and jump in. I've gotten scary goose bumps a few times.
Once, when Susan Smith said, "he helped me out of the car." I blurted "She did it."
Once when Ron Cummings referred to Haleigh in the past tense merely HOURS after she went missing that Feb morning and he said "I wish I had her back alive." NO one knew she was dead and we still don't know. But.... well... bless her heart.

And once when WH said that they stared at each other for ...[however many] minutes.
CHILLS

He must have come up with this brilliant idea himself.

Well, Jenise Wright is the one that has me sliiiiightly cautious not to assume before the police give the go ahead. I believe it, but I will sit at 90% instead of 100% for now. After that, its fair game, to me. Her case was just that- a registered sex offender dad, 6 year old girl child was found raped and killed, but it was a young-ish (17) neighbor boy. Not linked at all to dad at this point.

I know what you're saying but Jenise's case was SO different. In that case, her dad was a choir boy compared to WH. Yes, he was 1 time offender when he was younger, and coming home drunk from a party, IIRC. He wasn't a violent 🤬🤬🤬🤬, at all. In this case however, LE is on record as describing WH as a career criminal, with a history of kidnapping and rape. Does that mean he's the piece of garbage that took AJ away? No... unless DNA says yes.

I'm not at 100% either because... evidence. Regardless, he's still right where he belongs. Away from women and children.

moo.

You might be completely right. IDK how this is to be determined.

I am concerned because maybe he was a great father who really did love AJ and vice versa, nothing creepy or perverted about it.

I can imagine a man estranged from his family being willing to go to extraordinary lengths to win back their hearts and their forgiveness after something tragic happens. Maybe he inserted himself in the case to prove to them how devoted he is? (Not to mention, apparently someone tweeted his criminal record to the world, associating it with her disappearance from Day 1, which I just now read about. I may want to prove myself innocent, too, IDK.)

For everyone's sake, I hope my thinking is closer to the mark than not, especially for Zach & the girls & AJ's mother.

JMO

Do you mind me asking how long you've been on here? Your theory would be lovely, but I'll wait for the path/lab reports to tell the story.

Link to AB, for reference, fwiw (sorry if already posted)

Yikes google it, the facial tats, you guys are right, scary!!

Question, other than the tats, is there anything else that suggests he could be affiliated with such a group? Tia.

You are so right. I cannot imagine what Zach, her sisters & those that truly loved AJ are going through right now. I hope they are surrounded by love and peace in these moments as I imagine their hearts have crumbled.

It is so not oK!

The mods will cut you some slack since you are new, I'm sure... now someone like me with over 10,000 posts who knows better, no leverage whatsoever.
(This is no $kjt either!)

Eta: 10,999, yikes. Here's what I would like to make for my 11,000 Post:
(See next)

Yes, I think I hit about 100 and they started slapping me a little more, but after 500 ... I've had no mercy :shame: HAHA But there is much love to them for a reason --- we'd all be running around talking about who knows what and getting off trail more than we already do :loveyou:

(edited to say: WOW on the number of posts margarita ... awesome sleuthing)

I understand what you are saying. My only response is that it's LE's job to be completely impartial and thorough in their investigation and 100% certain they have the right guy before charging him, not mine. I work in the world of statistics. I understand that there is a 1% chance it's not him, but that also means that there is a 99% chance it is.

There is the Jenise Wright case where the stepfather was an RSO but it was a kid down the road that snatched her, but he didn't do and say the incredibly incriminating things that WH has. This guy has been talking and acting like Ted Bundy from the start.

Just to be clear, the "stepfather" in Jenise's case was actually her bio dad but the stepfather of her 3 oldest siblings. Semantics, I know.

A few have mentioned that they would feel really awful if they accused WH of being guilty and he was in fact innocent.

I won't feel bad about it at all. I would say ' Sorry that I doubted you Man, but you brought it on yourself.' I don't feel bad at all about calling him out as my number one suspect. I am not basing my suspicions on rumors or gossip. I am going by his own past criminal record, his own weird, inconsistent statements, his trying to cover up things, his illegal actions, hiding ammo, using drugs, breaking and entering, and his fluctuating timelines.

So NO< I will not feel bad at all if I am wrong. I have not accused anyone else because there is no weirdness piled up in their closets in the same way as in his. JMO :cow:

I wont even say sorry. When you willingly and purposefully go out of your way to create a reputation for yourself in a life of crime, NO ONE owes you an apology when it's assumed you've committed another one. YOU set yourself up for that.
