Precisely! Definitely more effective things to lure a female with.

Onto the going for a run thing, if the clothing found turns out to be hers, that's awful far for a run no, and too many clothes?

I can see someone taking her from her home and her still having her overnight bag packed so they grab that too to make it look like she ran. I tend to leave most my things packed when I go home. I take out my nice stuff that wrinkles to hang but leave as much as I can in my bag since I hate to pack.
Bag may have been just sitting there all packed up if she's like me...

I am not sure exactly what clothing was found but I know it was 2 bras and shorts at least. I thought I heard some jeans as well.

2 sports bras
1 knee brace
1 pair of Norview baseball shorts.

According to the family. LE hasn't confirmed or commented. It's in one of the WAVY news reports.

Just a theory of mine . What if AJ went to stay with friends that night . Something may of happened at another location . The white car could belong to a friend of a friend . I have a teenage foster son and him and his friends carpool all the time. He's had people pick him up that he doesn't personally know but his friend does

Yeah I still can't get away from this theory. There weren't signs of a struggle at her house that we know of. I don't think she would go anywhere with a total stranger. She would go with someone she knows. I guess there is no report of people going door-to-door selling things where she might have opened the door to a stranger or someone selling something. I think she went with someone in that white car. I can understand where people might not believe the kid and the white car sighting but for the neighbor and the kid to report that it is probable that there was an actual white car there. Can we bring up the other person in the family that was mentioned in the interview?

When I read the text messages - regarding the mention of Help -
I interpreted them to mean that AJ was talking about WH.
Think about it.

Well, I hate to say it but I believe some kidnappers have more experience kidnapping people than police do with solving kidnapping cases. They might know how to cover tracks. I mean the only digital trail might be a phone call made. That might be a dead end number. Same thing with the ad. They might even be able to see a deleted suspicious ad but will police actually call all deleted GoPro ad numbers to verify they are real? Without a warrant? And then will they actually go visit the people, or look into them - without sufficient cause? Is there a way of hacking into a CL ad and putting your phone number in temporarily? Definitely within reason to consider. Whether or not Anjelica is victim to this type of thing, they are very successful these days and we aren't going to stop them without thinking ahead of them.
There is a way of hiding an online trail using certain web browsers and even rotating email accounts . I once had an email account that the address would change every 5 or 10 minutes to keep me anonymous . My IP address would also say I lived in Spain .(I live in Australia) I know nothing about computers but it was easy to set up and find .

I cut my comment short because I didn't want to upset you with where I was heading. A friend being involved in the sex ring.

I don't want to get in the way of you guys brainstorming. I know sometimes you got to be crude to deal with crude things. I admit though, that I can only take so much imagining of bad things. That's why no tv and no news for the past 3 weeks. Hardly any radio either. A lot of quiet. Hear the clocking ticking now...

The neighbor is my biggest concern, to be honest. When I was sexually assaulted, it was by a classmate who I once consider a friend but slowly started to make creepy advancements/sending inappropriate texts that made me uncomfortable. I was terrified of coming off rude, bratty, etc. My psychiatrist says I'm a people pleaser, so I have a difficult time saying "no" or telling someone something they don't want to hear. Is AJ a people pleaser?
Scenario: Neighbor stops by after WH leaves..he's a neighbor so he knows when AJ's sister will arrive home.. AJ opens the door or goes outside because he's a familiar face..

I know who you're referring too and I'm not sure if we can mention him . It seems more plausible then anything happening in the house when there were no signs of a struggle at all . I think AJ would be a fighter and would of tore up the house if something like that happened there

I vote a resounding YES to moving this thread to the parking lot.

Maybe a good idea. There's only a few things I haven't been able to say. I'm not sure how that works. Still enough people to have good brains on the subject, right?

You always hear about people disappearing in broad daylight. I think sex traffickers are calculated and pros at abducting people. In fact, there are less people home at that time of day, especially in a working class neighborhood such as this one.

You are absolutely right, unfortunately. However, it's even more sinister than that: one very common MO is befriending the victim (often on line, sometimes in person) so although the victim *is* abducted, she often leaves willingly with/to meet them. Hence no one would have seen anything out of the ordinary :(.

Yeah there are all kinds of ways to to conceal your IP address. I'm not that technical either but you can use proxy settings, etc. I am sure though that they have computer forensics that can trace that. He could be playing dumb but if it took him 2 hours to look up a GoPro how long do you think it would take him to figure out how to do that. :silly:

With the advancement of technology sadly the criminals are usually one step ahead of LE

If this is what you want to do, you need to PM a mod : I think Tricia, Bessie and Coldpizza are the ones monitoring this thread.

Yes, you will see all the same names of the folks that are here now because we are registered members. Guest will not be privy to conversation - they would have to register. And a private forum doesn't show up if someone googles.

IMO looking at the texts she wasn't actually afraid . The way I read it is a guy was texting her and she jokingly said to her cousin help .

This article provides some insight into trafficking victims.

Remember, the time line, if all people are correct is that she was seen at 2. Wes was back at work around 1. So if that witness is right, then Wes is probably good, unless he left again from work or just had to phone in. I am also wondering why the police drilled him for 15 hours. Either they suspect him, or they don't have a clue? Ugh.............. getting tired.

Zach, do you have access to her boyfriend's mother? I think a lot of us are wondering if she really ever intended to buy a goPro at all. She might be able to confirm it. You don't have to share that answer with us, but if it does not check out, this would be an avenue you could put to rest.

I wasn't focusing on WH in this post . lol I wouldn't expect him to know much about much . Looking into it there are a few programs that because of encryption even the FBI can't crack it .

YES!!! Absolutely. We don't know for a fact WHERE the offenses occurred.

not JH house. house of person of interest. well he became a person of interest at some point. not sure if before or after break in

There might not have been signs of a struggle, but there were signs that someone cleaned that house above and beyond.

But what are the percentages of cab riders that are going to a hotel. I'd say a pretty high percentage of them are from out of town, hence they needed a cab.

Also, the cops were given access to this cab drivers statement and how to reach her. If they thought it was AJ then they could have verified by looking at the cabs records. Even if no video, there are records of pick up and destination, and some people use bank cards.

The thing is, this cab driver also said she saw this same girl a few other times in Ocean View and around town. So I am not sure it was really AJ. There are a zillion pretty teens with long brown wavy hair and big smiles around.

I have seen so many sightings that seemed credible but didn't pan out. It is hard for me to trust them usually.

Good point. Iam not aware of Anjelica hanging around cabbies in Ocean View.
