VA VA - Arieanna Day, 3 months, Roanoke, 12 September 2018 *Charges dropped*

Poor Arieanna has dropped to page 8 on ws. There have been 3 or 4 missing infants/toddlers over the past month or two. The others have all been found. I don’t understand why this case doesn’t have people outraged.

I think plenty are outraged. But they do have someone in jail, and are probably going to ramp up the charges soon. I think they are hoping to find the sweet baby before they do so. JMO

Why was he afraid to take his badly injured baby to the hospital, to save her life? If he picked her up, and she was injured at that time, why couldn't he take her in and save her?

It is called a reasonable doubt case?

Usually in this area, you won't see murder charges until the grand jury indicts. I guess time will tell. I haven't heard anything more on any searches for her little body.

That's what's confusing me. They haven't found her, but her father supposedly confessed to disposing of her?

Is that right? Because if you are going to confess to that, why not say where she is? Unless her body is going to tell a different story than he told... :-[

Thoughts? Was he lying about the location? Did he forget where he put her? Did he bury her there but she was taken- by wildlife maybe? It really breaks my heart to think that she won't ever be found. That poor baby girl never stood a chance.

Would he go so far as saying he buried her when she was just hidden away somewhere with someone? Could he be protecting a trafficing group?
This is so weird he has admitted to disposing of her but can't/won't tell the truth. He is in jail anyway.

In my experience, when people 'confess' to disposing of a child, but don't come up with the actual remains, it usually means they have something bad to hide. Like maybe the body will not match the story that was told.

Sometimes they want the body to fully decompose so there will be no signs of sexual assault or severe beatings, etc.

He’s not in jail. He bonded out in mid-October.

Roanoke PD, Montgomery sheriff's office provide updates in missing baby case

The Roanoke Police Department, as well as the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, will be giving an update in the case of the missing Roanoke baby Arieanna Day.

"Three-month-old Arieanna can't speak for herself so we ask that you speak for her," said Roanoke Police Chief Tim Jones.

"As far as I'm concerned Arienna is deceased," Jones said.

He said samples have been sent out to the forensic lab, but could be 90 days out from getting results.
