Warrants reveal toddler had a troubled home life.

One of the more startling accusations is that Brandon Lockett may have been setting his alibi in motion at least a day before Avieon was reported missing.

Lockett's neighbor, James Tyree claims Lockett was already setting the stage for Avieon's abduction a full day before the boy went missing.


"He tried to say he had an anonymous call. He showed me his phone. Yes it had an anonymous call... but I thought that was suspicious," Tyree said.

Suspicious because, as Tyree describes it, Lockett claimed the call came from the would-be kidnapper.

If he was setting the stage on the 13th of January, this little boy, Aveion, was probably already gone. Possibily on the 12th of January? That also means mom knew. So what was mom's role in all of this really? She is NOT innocent by any means.

This goes to what I posted earlier. I believe Aveion was dead long before, maybe even days before, that 911 call.

And what I alluded to, but couldn't bring myself to say:

"According to courts documents, police searched the Lockett's home looking for several items including guns, bullets, tools used to dismember or maim, as well as books or other media related to child kidnappings."

God, I feel sick to my stomach...

BTW: Police are investigating the death of Roanoke toddler Aveion Lewis as a homicide.

That is the first I've seen them actually state 'homicide'.

The records say that since then, Aveion suffered from blistering burns on both legs caused by a home heater. The Lockett's claimed that medical attention was never sought out because Aveion had "a high threshold for pain" and because the family had previous run-ins with the Department of Social Services.

I'm willing to bet those burns were no accident.

Other information related to Lockett's past also came out in the documents, including the fact that Lockett was under the influence of drugs the night Aveion was reported missing. Those documents also list this investigation as a murder investigation and not one of a missing person.

This just gets worse and worse...

I agree Calliope. What scares me is how much sooner than the 911 call. Now I am having concerns his remains may not be found. All I can think is if BL is not cooperating with police, then I sure as hell pray Mom will cooperate. She HAD to have been part of this with BL. She didn't just come home and sleep in that home knowing her baby was gone without knowing what was done with him. She's the one who drives...... I can't even let my thoughts go there right now.

As details are coming out, I am keeping the extended family, siblings and each and every worker who tried to help this child in my prayers. If these details are so hard for me, someone who never met little Aveion, I can not imagine how difficult this news must be for them. May they find some peace in the love Aveion showed them and knowing he is now at peace in the arms of Jesus never to be hurt again.

Now that this other info is coming to light in Aveion's case...

Yep, IMO Mom was in on this. Maybe not at the beginning, but at some point she aided her husband in the cover-up and maybe helped in the disposal of his body. If she didn't, she at least knew what was going on. And now we are left wondering, when did little Aveion really leave this earth.

Where is the Mom in all of this...she has been suspiciously absent and unbelieveably quiet throughout all of this. She's been questioned...why hasn't she been charged?

God bless little Aveion - sweetie, you've touched a lot of lives in ways that you could have never known

Sadly, I doubt they're ever going to find this little child's body.

That baby was obviously dead long before 911 was called... I might be wrong, but I do feel that the mother knew... her demeanor in the 2 videos just didn't sit well with me.

I just checked NOAA for weather stats for that area... their weather guessers put tomorrow at mostly sunny, but there is a 30% chance of rain through Saturday night. Sunday does not look good: 80% chance of showers for the day, 70% for that night. Monday is predicted to be cloudy, but rain is not in the forecast, then the rest of the week is clearing, somewhat. So, Saturday will be their closest shot of finding him, with Sunday's weather hampering things, but the rest of the week looks to be on the side of the searchers. If Aveion isn't found tomorrow, hopefully by mid-week he will be found. Crossing fingers!

I haven't seen anything yet. I don't know why they are keeping this info quiet? We have been asking since this story was first reported. Maybe LE doesn't know or maybe it was so long ago, the info is not helping? Aveion didn't go to preschool, so unless he was seen in a store or by another relative, there may be no info. I have a feeling with the way things were at Aveion's house, relatives didn't go there often

I have had a hard time sleeping because he is constantly on my mind and the thoughts of his little body out there somewhere, and how he was murdered is weighing heavy on my mind and heart. I hope he is found soon so that he can be laid to rest with respect. I really wanted to go to the candlelight vigil tomorrow night but I don't think I could take it.

There is NO WAY this mama said, ok take care of putting my baby somewhere but I don't want to know where. There is NO WAY she doesn't know...... She has to know right?

It was that they do not want help from the public. Apparently several people have called asking if they can volunteer to search. LE doesn't want the public's help at this time.
