"Susan Bro, the mother of Heather Heyer, spoke following the sentencing of an avowed white supremacist who in 2017 plowed his car into a group of people protesting the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing Heyer. James Fields Jr. was sentenced to life in prison on federal hate crime charges."
