There are a lot of unanswered questions. There was something about an x girlfriend issue as well. So many things. It's a small town and there are people who know something, and I am sure they have said something. We are not privy to that information. It has been a very long time, and I along with many people have not forgotten. Whoever in responsible for this think we have, but we have not. It has affected many people in and out of the area. They will be exposed eventually.

Right! A small group of us sleuths are digging in, Chad was arrested for Wrongfully Wounding and Assault & Battery against is than GF- Stacey in March 2019. I know the police said that, he was dealing with those charges and the charges were gonna be dropped, so that would not be his reason to run. Any idea if someone was seeking revenue for Stacey? i.e ex husband or a boyfriend. Some one had mentioned on REDDIT that he had given sign of a mental breakdown. Kind of puts that Idea out there that Chad had been doing meth. Could this be true?! hmm

I don't know about all that. This article really seems to give the best information. They just need someone to come forward. I really think they know who did it. What a horrible thing to witness and secret to keep. This must be either a terrifyingly violent person, or someone well connected in the community. Who could that be?

I'm local. Every Memorial Day, like many in this county, I think of Chad. I did not know him personally. I know exactly where he gassed up before going to Panther. <modsnip - rumor>

I rarely discuss the case. However, the one time I asked two locals their thoughts, they became very agitated and told me to never say his name again. They said harm could possibly come to me and my family if I asked about the case. It was very chilling.

Personally, I don't know if this case will ever be solved. <modsnip>
