Here you go. A quick copy and paste.

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Investigators say a body found in Suffolk is a missing woman from Southampton County.

The body of Cynthia Carver was found in the southern part of the city, not far from where she disappeared nearly a month ago. The sheriff's office identified the body as Carver on March 20, saying members of her family have been notified.

Carver had been last seen the night of Feb. 21. Her mother reported her missing the next day after she went to Cynthia's home and found a disturbing scene that included a pool of blood near a rear door and a knife in the living room.

Deputies also said they found more blood on sheets and clothing inside the home. Initially a missing person case, investigators now believe Carver was abducted.

Carver’s car was at the house, but her purse and cell phone haven't been found.

According to the Southampton County Sheriff's Office, she was supposed to meet someone new the night she disappeared. It's not clear if that meeting ever took place.

Authorities are working to find a suspect in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 757-609-2482.

A spokesman for the Southampton County Sheriff's Office said Friday that someone murdered a mother who disappeared from her home in Newsoms in February.

Maj. Gene Drewery told 13News Now that the medical examiner's office determined someone killed Cynthia Carver. The 34-year-old mother died of "multiple sharp force injuries."

Justice for Cynthia!!!!

Agreed: she deserves justice!
In regards to the statement that she was meeting someone new, I’ve not signed up to date online. This case has me pretty freaked out. I’m partially sighted, live alone and have severe PTSD. Every time I go to sign up, I see Cynthia’s picture with that beautiful smile she had. She was a CO (iirc), likely with decent self defense skills. It still blows my mind that someone got the jump on her. I hope like hades that she created some painful bodily injury on the murderer. I look forward to the day we find out. RIP, Cynthia.

I've said this before but I'm now even more baffled. It's been 3 months and there are no arrests???? How could they not have found the guy who did this? They know she was meeting up with someone that night, obviously they were in communication-probably on more than one platform (a dating app, text messages, phone calls, instagram????), AND they have the murder weapon. I am shocked that this wasn't an open and close case that was solved within hours.

I agree with you 1,000%. I remember following this when it first happened and thinking that they should have a good amount of leads and evidence to follow. Here we are months later and still not even a POI or suspect?

Right there with you both... thought it would be a week or two with all of the evidence they should have.
Sigh :(

We can just hope they need to tie up some lose ends, keeping quiet and arrest is soon..

“Investigators interviewed Goodwyn in March and say he initially lied about being at Carver's home the night of Feb. 21, claiming the two had only talked through Facebook Messenger.

As the interview continued, investigators confronted Goodwyn with lying and say he admitted to being at her home that night, but said he stayed in his car the entire time and talked with Carver through an open window.”

Here's hoping that if he is responsible for Cynthia's death, that his DNA is in her apartment. Poor lady, may she rest in peace.

With these murders occurring after 'on line' meetings, more stringent rules must somehow be implemented.
But I guess, in an interview, before accepting the person, it may not be clear what their intentions may be.
Perhaps women, expect a friendly date, and the man wants far more, and matters go downhill from there.
MOO.
