PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Portsmouth woman who went missing this afternoon. According to detectives, 64-year-old Deborah Shaw was last seen in the 2300 block of Victory Blvd., at approximately 4:00 p.m. Detectives are concerned for Deborah Shaw’s well-being because she has a condition that requires medication and does not have it with her. Deborah Shaw is a black female who stands approximately 5’4” tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has red braids in her hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown pants and black shoes. If you have seen 64-year-old Deborah Shaw or know her whereabouts you are asked to contact the Portsmouth Police Department at (757)393-5300 or the Crime Line.

This remains an active investigation. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. Callers can also submit anonymous tips through the new “P3 Tips” app available in the Google Play and App Store or by going to www.p3tips.com. As always Crime Line callers are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a caller’s tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of drugs or stolen property, they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
