The hard hat seems an odd thing to be there. Could this be a homeless person working random construction jobs? Someone fatally injured on a job and left here for cover up?

Has there been any updates since end of March. The detective in charge of Theo's case in Hampton did not mention this possible find to the family. They also do not want to involve FBI. Theodoric Hunter missing persons case is considered a cold case.

I have not seen any update on this case. That's not unusual though. We don't know if Theo has been compared to this UID, just that the tip was sent in. I do not know if they passed it along to the detective, or if the detective followed up on it if he did get it. That might be something for the family to ask him.

I am not seeing him listed in the database at Namus.gov. If I can get his case # and demographic information (the kind that would be listed on a missing persons flier) then I can get him entered in immediately.

Over two years later, in September of 2022, the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Forensics Unit and the Office of the Medical Examiner used DNA analysis to identify the remains as Willie Wesley Wright of Ashland.

Rest in peace, Mr. Wright.
